Adequate but not great
The camera and app connect ok and the range seems good up to 30 metres with no obstacles. I’ve not tried it with my caravan in between the camera and my phone yet but I’m assuming it should be fine based on my tests.
The disappointing bit is the picture resolution (it doesn’t look HD) and more so the colour rendition. Colours seam washed out and blacks look purple.
The app itself is very very basic with no picture adjustments and I expected a camera with a 120degree fire off view would fill my phone screen, but it doesn’t, there is a lot of dead space that could be used to give the user a full screen image.
I’d like to send the app improved to allow us to adjust the picture colour hue, saturation, contrast & brightness. Also a battery status icon and WiFi signal strength indicators would be appreciated.
All in all, it’s adequate for the job, but neither the app or the camera picture quality are going to impress you.

Please update to work with IOS 16
No longer works with newer iphones or later versions of ios
Needs Improvement
I’m happy with the performance of this reversing camera. So good not having to run wires through your vehicle. It’s worth noting that you need to recharge it every 1 or 2 days if you have it switched on for lengthy periods. Magnetic base is very strong and sits nicely on the lid of my boot. Be warned….on one occasion the image froze and I continued to reverse and came close to making contact with an obstacle behind. So keep your eyes on the screen while you are reversing to make sure you still see your car moving. Once or twice the camera has lost signal with my app and the phone screen went blank. One thing that would definitely improve this set up is to modify the app so the image you see on your iPhone is FULL SCREEN because at the moment it is not.

It works = one star- read on
Open camera ( turn it on) look for sonic on your Wi-Fi drop down list , touch it - it will connect to camera , but it says unsecure - ( this puts me off )… then every time you turn off camera or phone You have to go to settings again, look for sonic and reconnect. Question- why is it unsecure, why won’t it stay connected after I power off. Some places are so remote- off the grid, I don’t know if I can start up sonic . This safetyeye I use it to see what my animals are doing in the trailer as they are being transported.

Zoom please!
Objects appear farther away than they are. The Ap is simple to use (good) but it’s really hard to tell how close you are to an object when backing up. Seems like an improvement there would make this a five star Ap!!

Camera stopped generating a wifi connection. So useless. Don’t buy.
Rubbish
Worked for a couple of trips and now the app is useless. Camera works but app doesn’t so it is useless. Please do not buy this product.
