Reviews of JAYCOMMAND/TravelLINK

  • Great product

Have used this for over 3 years no problems. Use it 50 miles away form trailer. All bad reviews probably come from 1st time RVer’s. They should just stay in a hotel
  • Poorly executed

This is like playing whack a mole on your phone. Buttons light up then go dark. Awnings are an exercise in frustration because they stop and start all the time. JAYCOMMAND/TravelLINK app on tablet just closes or a force restart is needed. Jayco needs to step up and resolve these issues. If I could give negative stars I would. The app update that gives you tank level updates has significantly slowed the app down. Also if your going to implement that then put in accurate tank sensors.
  • Latest Update is a joke

As if the app wasn’t bad enough before, the latest update is even more laughable. Now the app sends notifications to your phone on tank levels, but only when you actually have the app open and connected (not in the background). That’s not particularly useful since if I have the app open, I can just look at my tank levels. However, when you have crappy tank sensors like many rv’s have your black tank is constantly reading full, you get an alert every time you open the app; also not particularly useful. Same thing happens when you have an empty fresh water tank, which is almost always empty when hooked to full hookups. I was standing at the dump station today, after dumping, and opened the app and it alerts that the black tank is full and the fresh tank is empty. Neither of which are useful notifications.
It’s like the developers of this app have never actually used an rv.
