  • Couldn’t sign up

    Couldn’t get past the sign up screen. It kept saying my phone number was invalid.
  • Dont waste your time

    Most of the jobs that get posted are from meijers. They only hire the same people no one new. Your just wasting time n money for no reason. Also one thing you should know they let the employees and other hyer taskers just leave un open boxes on the shelves and let them stock product in places it dont belong. Doing the job takes longer cause as your stocking product you run into another product and that place and now you got to move that product to its original place and then stock with the new product. Also no one there stocks correctly its supposed to be fifo which means first on first out. So when we stock food products the stuff thats gonna expire goes to the front and the new stuff to the back not here they just toss everything in front of the old expiring products. Then they take there sweet time to pay you.

  • Update

    They took away more rights for takers, and made it easier for the Customer/Client to burn you off the app very unreliable. Also a lot of customers/clients will job/gig Bait you with hours/Pay and burn you and hour or two the shift. So imagine getting offered a 9 hour shift for 19 an hour but getting burnt one hour into the gig and driving 25-50mins too. Hyer has exactly 4 customer service reps in the whole company, I know that’s hard to believe but yes. You have not rights and no protection. Also if their offering 19 and hour just know that HYER TAES 6-7dollars from your hourly pay every hour. So that mean your actual rate is 26 an hour and they are dipping into your wages. You are a “temp” (Slave)

Businesses should not be treating Taskers in such a manner, so we want to understand what is happening. Hyer does not take anything from the Tasker pay and you will see the rate before appying for any task.
  • PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE ROCKFORD IL MEIJER!!

    I’ve had the app for almost a year now. There is not much in my area for tasks which is fine. The one location closest to me (which would be the Rockford il meijer) NEVER accepts anyone for shifts yet they post them everyday. Myself, my mom, boyfriend, and a couple friends have tried to apply for shifts there and we are instantly not picked. It never fails. Either take this location off since obviously they aren’t taking taskers or communicate with them to see what the problem is?

    Also please add more gigs in the Janesville, Wi area. Sometimes you could find a lot in Madison, Wi, but not it seems like there is nothing there. I have paid 5$ multiple times over the last few years and haven’t been able to successfully get a gig. Please fix this.

  • Unethical practice

    I followed the instructions to attempt completing a task. The items were not at the store I went to. Although I studied the instructions for 45 minutes and we spent 45 minutes at the store looking for the items I needed to complete my task. Hyer has decided not to pay me. I did submit a report as requested, however it indicated the details why the task could not be completed. Don't waste your time with Hyer. They don't care about you or your time. They are a task farm, making a profit off some else's work.

    - Follow up to Hyer response. "Hello Dana, I'm sorry but you did not complete the available objective that would have allowed the the Customer to review the task for compensation. When the available objective for the task that could be completed was not met, the Customer is not able to compensate. Please take care to closely follow all directions to ensure you are submitting your tasks properly. "

    THE TASK COULD NOT BE COMPLETED. The necessary materials to complete said task were not on site, as the instructions stated they would be. This is not a failure on my part in any way. FIX YOUR SYSTEM! I still put in time and effort. Any other hourly employers would have paid their employees. If Hyer wants to be successful long term, you need to find a solution for situations like this.

    Hello Dana, I'm sorry but you did not complete the available objective that would have allowed the the Customer to review the task for compensation. When the available objective for the task that could be completed was not met, the Customer is not able to compensate.   • Updates

    The app updates every few weeks it seems like. Job postings vary and not many employers use it/ know about it. It’s not widely available in all areas. They show job postings based off home address and not current location. I’m not sure how thorough they are with keeping up to date w background checks for businesses. I’ve had an incident happen in the past and reported it at the end of my shift, only to be told that someone from hyer would reach out and never did. The job was allowed to keep posting on the app, so I don’t think they investigated my report at all. There’s no option to block a business you don’t want to receive jobs from. With all the updates that happen, that’s a feature I’d consider including. I am an independent contractor after all, that should be an option for me.

I read your review and first i wanted to say how much we appreciate the constructive product enhancement feedback. Second, i wanted to make sure you were aware that you can search for tasks based on GPS (vs just your home address). Go to the map view and in the bottom right there is a house (that is your home address) and an arrow above that. If you click that arrow, then that will pull your 'current location' (assuming location services is on) so you can see tasks near that current location. Hope this helps. Also-- regarding your 'block' request-- we have an overhaul of notifications, in general, on our roadmap -- so that you would be able to pick what task notifications you would like to receive (and for which businesses). I'll add the blocking item as an item to review when we get to designing that. I encourage you to continue to send in feedback to support@gohyer.com -- it is really helpful.
  • No Jobs

    I’ve been on the app for about a year. There were SO many jobs and now I get on the app and there’s absolutely nothing at all some days and other days there’s only a few for one place. The jobs are also ALWAYS atleast 20-30 minutes away. One incident I had drove all the way to a job just for the Management to say that they weren’t going to pay what was on the listing because they don’t even get paid that in one night, she had wasted my time and my gas that I could’ve used to go to another job that actually would have paid what they put on the application. This app has become a big JOKE. It’s useless now.

  • Easy to Use

    The app is so easy to use! It shows you tasks near you. It’s easy to apply and communicate with the Businesses in the app once you’re scheduled, and easy to get paid quickly. Recommend for anyone looking to make money on their own schedule.

  • Hyer support team is no help at all

    To be fully honest do not download this app you will lose money, most likely won’t get approved to any jobs (the supervisors have a set group of taskers they want and will only approve them) also if u have any issues don’t bother contacting hyer support they will do nothing like seriously they will do nothing about your situation so at the end if it this all is useless DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP they will tell you to contact hyer support but trust me nothing will be done they do not care about the taskers at all even if you are in the right and the store you did a job for was wrong, you will be asked to contact hyer help and support team which will just be a waste of your time because they will either ignore you, wya that your wrong even when your not it don’t matter what evidence you have, they will always choose the supervisor of the job side over yours this app should be taken down and hyer please don’t comment saying I should contact you guys when I’ve told you guys multiple times for months and you guys still didn’t do anything to help instead choose the supervisors side and trust me guys I had picture, video and gps location proof and still was told I was wrong which is 100% wrong and unprofessional, I’ve been emailing and talking to Apple about this app and hopefully things will be done and this app will be taken down to save everyone from this nightmare again HYER APP NEEDS TO BE TAKEN DOWN!!!
