If the user is not in the app, it will not let them know that their session has ended.
I use it on my tablet, where I take notes. So if I can’t get notifications while taking notes it’s pointless.Hxjndndj
It’s alright
Wish this app would work better when used with other apps. I use my iPad for notes, but find that the timer doesn’t sound for almost forty minutes when not directly in it. (Even during rest breaks). Nor does it register that you’ve completed a rep. I noticed this after the six rep (and it was only supposed to be four).
Though the timer not being seen is kind of good. It helps keep focus on what you’re doing rather than looking at the timer.Show lessSilverfoxlite

Hey Silverfoxlite, I have updated Pomodoro Focus Timer and am spending the time to respond to everyone who had given such good feedback about what needed to be fixed. I have since implemented background mode so now you can listen to music while you study if you choose. And if you leave the app to do something else you'll receive a notification letting you know the timer is up (if you have allowed the notifications that is). I hope the new version of Pomodoro Focus Timer can be more useful to you.Useless

Alarm not loud enough? not working with music apps?
Getting in the groove on my 25 minute work segments by listening to Spotify. Have not heard the Pomodoro alarms for work nor break. Frustrated!Tomayto-Tomahto

Notification's not working properly
I am a student and i've tested out many pomodoro based apps before but i'm still in love with the simplicity and beautiful look this app has to offer.However, the notification function is not working for me - i dont receive notification when a session is done if i turn off the phone or not inside the app.Hopefully the developer will fix this soon.Show lessrabidracc
