Fun pixel lag
I don’t think the lag is from me because other apps work perfectly. This game is fun and the story is good, but stupidly the lag needs to be fixed. Every few seconds, the game pauses for a second. It’s annoying.
Edit: I finished the game before they fixed the lag, but it was really fun. I like fishing in real life, and have tried other fishing games but this one has the best story and unique fishes. I wish I finished gathering all favors, but it’s okay. Really enjoyed the game.Show lessganyadnall
I want to love this, but..
It’s constantly laggy at the worst times? I don’t know if it’s a bug, if it’s because of the ads, or if for some reason that’s just how the game is, but when trying to fish it’s extremely laggy. I couldn’t even make it past the tutorial because it was just constantly lagging out & making it very difficult to get through the small bits of dialog, and then figure out where the fish were going, trying to aim my cast, if the fish were biting, etc. The app is updated because I just downloaded it, & it happens on both wifi & data. I don’t know what to do, & I really want to love this, but it’s unplayable for me as is. 😔Show lessPerf 😁😘😁💕✌️
A little awkward, but I love it
Love that when I run out of bait, you aren’t forced to pay money or wait. They give the option to watch an ad to refill as well. So I don’t have to stop playing. The English and storyline is a little awkward 😅 but it’s still cute and charming and great for relaxing and passing time. I love that I’m not limited, I can play as much as I want, for free with ads or you can pay for unlimited bait with no ads. Either way, I think it’s something every game should give the option for. Love it. Would give more than 5 stars if that were an option just because of how nice this is!Show lessTinymumb1es
Overall pretty good
Like the game and the concept. I have had a couple issues major issues.
1. Most of the rewards you get are for decorating your house. This aspect of the game is completely broken. I placed the first window I was given and have been unable to place anything else.
2. Sometimes the fish you are reeling in gets stuck on the bank and you can’t get it to the center to pull it in. Losing fish this way is frustrating.Show lessjibble34
Awesome is an understatement!!
This game is very wholesome and heartfelt. I can tell a lot of love & fun was put into this game. I don’t care much for the actual game mechanics of fishing but what made me love this game is the beautifully done pixel art and how the characters interact. The characters are also pretty funny. It was totally unexpected for a tiny bird to have that kind of personality haha. Love this game, I’m so glad this is free mostly because the friendship part is probably very needed to some people. I might be projecting or something, but the characters seem very genuine with their enlightening values of friendship. It helps me reflect on what I have in my life and feel grateful :)

This game is very cute and sweet. I’m really enjoying playing, both for the calming fishing aspect and the intriguing storyline. Some of the events feel quite bittersweet and I’m looking forward to seeing how everything pans out. The characters are interesting even if they’re limited. I would definitely recommend, and I plan on downloading the other games by these developers when I can!
Update: I’ve completed the game and I’m going to move on to Bear’s Restaurant. I get the feeling I’m playing them out of order...but it’s alright! The story moves smoothly independently and I really enjoyed how the characters adapted and grew. The ending made me smile; it went exactly how I hoped it would go, which was a wonderful surprise! I also don’t normally listen to a game’s music, but this one made me curious enough that I turned up my volume and it was worth it. ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!
First off, I never write reviews. Like... NEVER. This is my first review haha. Anyways, this game is amazing. I first downloaded because I thought it looks cute. Oh my gosh I did not know what I was getting into. The characters are so well written, I got attached to them IMMEDIATELY. The graphics are beautiful and give me a sense of Pokémon nostalgia. The gameplay is so relaxing it’s like mixing Undertale, Animal Crossing, and Stardew Valley together. But instead of farming it’s fishing. The music!! Don’t even get me started!! Some of the songs are so beautiful and calming that they put me right to sleep!! And the story is amazing. This is the PERFECT game. I almost cried when I finished it because I loved each and every character so much. Thank you so so so much for making this lovely game. It gave me a sense of safety, calm, and friendship during these days of quarantine. Whenever I play this game it feels like there’s a warm ray of sunshine upon me while I’m fishing on the beach with my Lil Birdy haha. So thank you. Thank you very much for creating something so beautiful. Don’t let those bad reviews get you down because this is a masterpiece. Ah, if only this game wasn’t an app and more like a full console game with more features haha. Anyways. Best game I’ve ever played in my entire life. It brought tears to my eyes. Amazing. Just amazing & so fun & addictive
Really fun game. I love pixel graphics and I so enjoyed the storyline and mini backup stories to everyone’s character. I loved the cast! They were the true heart for the story.
I’m so glad I played Bear’s Restaurant first! I played it first by coincidence without knowing the story, but it made the characters a lot more enjoyable in the beginning because it was just a real enjoyment to see the characters that developed in a previous game appear once again and get fleshed out a bit more.

I love it!
This game is very reminiscent of Stardew Valley. I’m not sure if the devs were inspired by Stardew Valley, but the fishing mechanics bare a very slight similarity. Just slight. And the graphics as well bare a very slight similarity. Essentially, I’m saying you guys did a great job by drawing inspiration instead of copying. You really managed to form a unique and cute story that is truly original. The dialogue is a little finicky; by this, I mean the grammar is fine, nothing spectacular. It’s usually fine 85% of the time. This doesn’t really taint my experience in all honesty. I’m unsure as to whether the people who scripted the dialogue are English, so it’s fine by me. Overall, this game is very cute. And the in app purchases are pretty reasonably priced I’d say. I would say the beginning of the story is a bit of a slow start, but after that I’d say the dialogue is necessarily placed. Thank you devs for a great story, keep up the good work! Absolutely worth it!!!
I’ve been playing this game since it came out and i’ve seen all the updates and what it’s done. I’ve just LOVED it. I’ve just slowly been completing it since forever. and i JUST completed it today like a year later. it’s the one app i never deleted and the stories are always so amazing and i couldn’t have asked for a better game to fall in love with. i’ve literally downloaded all of your apps you’ve made and just binged them all. i can’t even explain how much fun i’ve had just fishing really. the tasks and getting all the friendship stones were just really great. i loved it. i just wanted to cry when it was over it was just that great. 100% recommend!!!!!!!Show lessjoysandddd
