Amazing app!
Some people are criticizing this game but do not realize it came out yesterday and the Devs will be fixing things. Great game (kind of like NES game) This game has tons of potential and it is not wasted! If there are some things i could fix to this game it would be:The energy (baits system) should be upgradable throughout the game. I would not change any other functions currently but there should be some more upgrades coming out and you should be able to customize the yard of your island like you can customize the interior to your house. Beautiful
I think this is a really cute game. It has adorable retro graphics and a really simple to use fishing AI. The dialogue allows for a story that is easy to follow and fairly interesting. A well done game. While the fishbites do take 90 secs to re-spawn, that’s not a very long time, and you can also watch a video or pay for unlimited bait if you want. For a free game, i think this is a wonderful, adorable game that had the potential to keep you entertained for hours.Show lessBicpup
So much potential ruined
Basically you start playing the game and within the first two minutes you realize there’s way too much dialogue. Next as your going through a “tutorial” of sorts which is where you do your first few missions and they tell you how to play, you realize that the amount of dialogue they put in to tell you how to play is just annoying at this point. Then once you actually start fishing and doing missions on your own you realize oh I only have a certain amount of “worms” or attempts at catching fish before they refill which is also way too annoying. You need to wait 90 seconds for one thing of bait. Further more if you cast and don’t catch anything your bait will be used up anyway. This game had potential with its fishing and filling out your journal or whatever that has the fish in it, but it was all lost within the first 10 minutes when you realize how annoying most of the gameplay is. I had it pre ordered and I’m so glad it was free because I deleted about 15-20 minutes in.Show lessJohn Mullett

But why is there no way to transfer data? I originally downloaded the app onto my iPad but I’d like to play on my iPhone as well. And the ads are annoying. I don’t mind watching an ad for an increase in coins or restocking the bait. But the ones that pop up out of nowhere are usually why I delete an app. But it doesn’t happen TOO often, and the game is really addicting and fun. I will probably spend the money to remove the ads! Also, i would love to make my main character a girl, as I am a girl. Would be a good improvement. I imagine it wouldn’t be too much work considering the low graphics.Show lessMusiqMysfit

I was definitely looking forwards to when this app got released since I preordered it, and it really did not disappoint. The music has such a nice vibe to it and I honestly adore the graphics. You guys really worked hard on this app and I’d like to thank you all so much. I don’t mind watching the ads since they aren’t overkill like some other apps, and I figure it’s the least I can do to show my appreciation (I kind of can’t spend money to become a sponsor but I totally would in a heartbeat if I did have the money!) I LOVE your game series;Bears restaurant, Clock, and co. (Btw if you haven’t checked them out yet, I suggest doing so now ;) )Now that I’ve got that out of the way, there’s a small glitch/bug.
After doing the second quest, if you accept to watch an ad for the gold bonus, after you finish the quest, It’ll say that “Coin boost has ended” in white letters in the first black screen with the bird saying it. It also re-states it when you go back to the island—but that’s where the problem is. You. Can’t. M O V E. It doesn’t crash, it just plays the game as normal (music, characters on screen,etc) but you can’t do or move at all. The phone is also missing from its place on the rock. I absolutely love your game series, and I just wanted to help you ( I guess mainly me 0_O) on this one.Show lessSpiritsBonfire

This game is very fun! I played this today for 4 hours and have had a lot of fun so far. The story is adorable and the characters are funny! They all have a story to tell.
I don’t remember making our character but our character or at least mine looks like a girl but everyone calls me Mr. and man which is a bit odd. There were also a few typos but nothing major.
When you go to a spot to fish I wish there was the location name at the top of the screen. When you start unlocking more locations for the same places I can’t tell “a” apart from “b”.
Is there anything to do after you get the first piece for the rocket ship? I have completed all sub quests but there is nothing new to do or no new fish to catch.Show lessangelb06
great start to my morning
I had a bad dream about snakes, even though I like snakes and I woke up and opened my phone to listen to music when BLAM!!! DAIGO’S NEW GAME RELEASED!!! I was so shocked but delighted! Upon playing it, it was even more charming than its predecessors! So basically within the game you have to fish to progress quests, the mechanic for fishing has been explored in previous Daigo games but is refined in this game, it’s fun and engaging to get new fishies and try to get the fish you’re supposed to. The atmosphere is warm and homely and two fan favorites from the bear’s restaurant tie-in with this game made it in very early! Not to mention my personal favorite, ramen-boy, ehehe. As with every other Daigo game, I highly recommend you play this!! The art, characters, storyline and gameplay are all fun and mind-blowing that it fits into an app of all things! I haven’t gotten very far but the second I have money I’m donating to Daigo, I’ll always be impressed with the work they put into their games.Show lessTheG~

The game is absolutely adorable and I love the way you include characters from one game in other games it makes it really cute for the people who have played your other games before and gives incentives to try the other games too, however when the first coin boost ended I go stuck on the cut-seen of the Sapphire Tetra quest. It’s not frozen but it just has the sprite loop going over and over again with the “coin boost ended” over head and I can’t tap anything to make it keep going. I also tested out letting the coin boost end in a fishing place and that let the cut-seen continue, but I feel like this might be a bug so I let you know. So I’ve had this game Pre-ordered since January I’d say, and I don’t remember putting it in. But for the last 30 minutes, I’ve just been playing this game.
When I opened it up, my expectations were low and it looked not that much of a good game.
But as soon as the protagonist went to heaven I ate up my words cause oh my god! That was beautifully made and I had high expectations from that point on. And so far, it reached my expectations.
Not that many ads that make me get bored and don’t want to continue on and watch them just to play a game.
Beautiful sprites and amazing world design.
Not complicated interface and is easy to use. Even the fishing isn’t as tedious as it was in stardew valley.
I could only wish to customize the player, but I don’t need it. I like the protagonist as they are.
If you got time to spare and/or like stardew valley fishing then this is the game for you.
The only reason WHY this is a 3 star is I don’t want to give it so much praise and have to bite my tongue and take it all back. I just got the house and so far I’d give it a 4. But I don’t want to look back on this and wish I hadn’t given it such a high praise.
