Reviews of Zombie in my Pocket New

  • Bugs, needs update

Originally I gave this game a good review. But after playing more, I no longer recommend it. Too bad, because if bugs were fixed it would be a good game.

Regularly, you’ll play a game where the app just gives you the same house/room card over and over, so you can never get out of the house. So of course you lose.

Also, the buttons on the bottom don’t always respond, partly because they are too close to the multitask bar. And the notch on top cuts things off a bit too.

If this game ever gets fixed (doubtful) I’ll update my review. Until then, don’t bother playing it.
  • Good but needs update

This is a good game for when you have a few minutes to kill and want something fairly light. I appreciate that there are no ads or IAP.

It does need an update, though. The buttons on the bottom are a bit hard to click because they’re so close to the multitask swipe-up bar. And the notch at the top cuts the time off a bit. Everything is still playable, but the interface is a bit clunky. It took me a couple games to get used to it. The buttons on the bottom are the most frustrating aspect, though, because of how close they are to where you swipe up to multitask apps.

It’s still an enjoyable press your luck game, I do recommend it, but please, developer, update it for current phones and iOS. I’d play it more if you did.
  • Needs tons of work but it could be fun

I like the idea of this game but it needs work. Right now it doesn’t necessarily give me a reason to even play because it’s really simple with no real strategy involved. It could really use an overhaul for the rules in general, the buttons are too small, and adding dice for combat would be great.
