I like the App as it allows me t adjust the volume after exporting from the DAW_digital audio workstation. A little disappointed that it automatically fades in the audio at the beginning and I do see a way of shifting song after importing into Dolby on other going back to DAW and making allowance. Nice app though and it is free.
Hi Dolby. I love that this app is free. But first, it needs to not flip to portrait on an iPad during playback. Those of us with Magic Keyboards don’t like having to tilt our head 90 degrees while tweaking. In addition, I would actually pay you guys for an Inter-App Audio Unit that would feed these settings into Cubasis/Garageband etc so it could be used for adding vocals to music in a DAW. I would prefer that to paying for Soundcloud.

Thanks so much for sharing the feedback with us! We will forward the issue with portrait mode to our developers. The inter-app audio unit is 100% a brilliant idea and I'm sure our developers would love to explore its possibility! Meanwhile, please feel free to connect with us via dolbyonsupport@dolby.com. We're there to chat with you anytime when you need assistance. Have a wonderful day!I love this little app. It’s simple, easy to use, and does what I need it to. I write a lot of music. Dolby helps me get every idea down, so I don’t forget it...whether I’m humming a few bars or banging out riffs on a guitar. Those ideas get preserved using the Dolby app. Then later on when I have time I can go back into those audio files and curate them for more development into finished songs. Super helpful app that insures I don’t ever miss a song idea. Thanks Dolby

This is music to our ears! Thanks so so much for taking the time to share your experience with us. It motivates us to continue delivering the best :)I almost never leave reviews but I’m really enjoying this app. From recording my learning how to play guitar, to filming classes, this app has been a huge help for refining sound. It has definitely made a difference in the sound quality and I love it. Highly recommend.
50 years and you still didn’t figure out that no matter how Dolby the recording from the microphone is, it still doesn’t stand a chance against a simple line in, and no decent musician will ever record their synth basses and other electronic instruments with an iPhone recorder from the speakers. Why don’t anyone make a usb recording app?!?
Love it I love singing it’s the best thing ever I watch shows and singing like Hannah Montana it’s a kind of show and the best show ever and it’s on Disney+ you can get Disney+ on Fire T V anyways about the rating I love this helps me sing privately I am kind of a solo singer but I do like some instruments and stuff in the background but it’s a good app thanks for whoever made it and make a lot of ratings so make more games
I got my new phone today, a iPhone 12, and it’s mic was muffled when I tried to record something. When I got this app, it made it clearer, heavily.
If there wasn’t a app like this, my life would be over.
Thanks, Dolby. Keep on making sound better.
I’m having problems EXPORTING. I haven’t had any issues till we started recording church services. Is there a CAP on the size of recording??
Aside from this, this is the coolest and most useful app I’ve come across. It’s awesome and the fact that it’s free blows my mind. Being able to change the tones and levels really helps especially recording live.
I appreciate anything you might have to say on this.
I can't believe how much of a difference in recording quality this app makes. The fact that it can also record videos! And I just recently learned you can upload previously recorded video and audio and let Dolby do its magic on those too! So so so glad I found this gem!!! 💎💎💎💎💎
Dolby On is a huge step up in audio recording quality from the standard recording apps that come with the iPhone. If you’re a weekend warrior when it comes to practicing and performing music, I highly recommend it.
