My review of Sir Linkalot Spellings
I like using sir Linkalot beavuse it helps me improve my spellings more quickly and easily so if I ever got into a spelling competition I would win.
When sir Linkalot came to my school( earlswood junior school) we had so much fun because we learned how to spell some other spellings in a fun and engaging way. Thank you for making Sir Linkalot spellings!

Shouldn’t be recommended for 4+
I was hoping this would help my 4 year old learn to spell her first tricky words but it isn’t suitable for this age group and therefore I feel a bit duped!
For example the ‘a’ used does not look like the one they are taught to write at school (it has the tail at the top) and it is not pronounced phonetically in the videos.
This might be great for older kids

A YouTube video says it’s free. The App Store says it free. It’s a monthly subscription app.

It is a great website but sometimes it takes a while to load
But the links are great they really help me learn i am in year five and I know so many more things since sir Linkalot !

Support is not present
The support on this app is not present. We had an issue with things saving so led to our boys no longer using. Then, get a surprise annual renew - no notification or ask if want to renew - and cannot find the app under Apple Support! Now spending time tying to get refund from a product that wasn’t working for us.

Great app. Learning made fun
It is really enjoyable and I like the way it makes me work things out and I like the tests at the end of the session. I like how the app makes me feel like I am not learning when I am.
Love it but can’t get support
We love this app and paid for a year’s subscription. We had to install it on a new phone and I couldn’t remember the password - there’s no easy ‘reset my password’ and I can’t get any support from the email address given so we’re stuck and can’t use our subscription. Why have such a complicated log on with no easy reset??

Hi. I'm thrilled that you're enjoying the app. There are no passwords. You click on 'log in' (the three white dots at the top right) then 'App store purchases' followed by 'Restore'. You can access it on any Apple gadget by using the Apple ID you bought the subscription with. The set-up is with the app stores so it's therefore out of our control. I apologise about the typo on the email address. That is a mistake that we're rectifying.
