For me a bit confusing
Though this is a good app when you get to the second note one of the songs includes the first note and I even checked to make sure but it said nothing about this. So i played both notes but it didn’t work so I played just the note that I was learning. But that didn’t work. I only knew two notes and still can’t get more than fifty percent on it. But I think im just misunderstanding it somehow. But I mean before that it was fine but still I found it a bit confusing and I also checked multiple videos on how to hold a flat and The app wasn’t using any of these so it didn’t teach me how to hold it properly which confused me a bit.Show lessstella luna 1 2 3 go

Hi, thank you for your feedback. At the beginning of the learning path it is explained how to hold a flute. Currently with pictures, but we will soon add videos, too. If you have problems with note recognition please check the settings of the tonestro tuner (it’s the little tuning fork symbol). You can either tune your instrument until you hit the line, our you can drag the line until it fits your instrument’s tuning. If you have any problems with this or with anything else, please send us a message to support@tonestro.comReally wish I could use.
My experience with Tonestro has been great when I tried it with my clarinet, but I recently bought a concert D flute and I was disappointed that the app only offers lessons for concert C flutes. :( Hope you guys can add other keys in the future!KennisDerpy

The exercises are best done in landscape and that works well. But the explanations are only in portrait - which is a pain. I keep having to rotate my iPad.
I can’t figure out what the difference between free and premium is for the content I want. I’m only using learning refresh my memory of playing flute from grade school through high school. If I don’t want songs, why would I want premium?
For the most part it is giving me what I want so I give it 3 stars.
Fix the orientation issue and I would give it 5 stars.

Hi, thank you for your feedback. Currently, only the music sheet itself can be displayed in landscape mode. All other pages are displayed fixed in portrait mode and are at the moment not available in landscape mode. We had to change this due to our new navigation structure. We know that this is not optimal for users who prefer to play in landscape format, and we are already working on improving the user experience here. With tonestro Premium you get access to all content, which includes more songs and all learning path lessons and exercises for all the instruments that are available in the tonestro apps. It’s a very useful app for independent learning. All in all it works quite well. For the first time in a year the server was down today, but I’m pretty satisfied.Abbylogic

Amazing game
Amazing for learning how to play the flute, though I wish that there was more songs that you could play without buying the premium. Other than that it’s amazing! My band friend showed me this app, and I love it! But, I do wish there was a better selection for free music, like twinkle twinkle little star and Mary had a little lamb, but I love how it corrects you too!
