Fun App

This is a lot of fun and a good teacher. At least the flute part is. That’s the only instrument I have.

Amazing free app for beginners and experts alike

Really enjoying this app so far, as I haven’t played the flute in at least 5 years. I like that it has a test for you to do with each practice so that you can identify notes, length of notes, rhythm, and pitch. I’m only getting started but I’m really enjoying getting back into music for fun.

Really good so far

My only jiggle is that the notes are so small, and there doesn’t seem to be any way to increase the size. Otherwise, seems good.

Don’t download 👎🏻

I hated it songs suck and hard to play don’t download this app it is terrible 👎🏻. But I might have done something wrong but this app did not work for me 😢sorry.

Good rating lol

Good app, don’t need premium coz you can do heaps with out it, and it’s great for self taught people or even if you’re being tutored and you want to use it as practice. Great job app person lmao :)

For me a bit confusing

Though this is a good app when you get to the second note one of the songs includes the first note and I even checked to make sure but it said nothing about this. So i played both notes but it didn’t work so I played just the note that I was learning. But that didn’t work. I only knew two notes and still can’t get more than fifty percent on it. But I think im just misunderstanding it somehow. But I mean before that it was fine but still I found it a bit confusing and I also checked multiple videos on how to hold a flat and The app wasn’t using any of these so it didn’t teach me how to hold it properly which confused me a bit.

Hi, thank you for your feedback. At the beginning of the learning path it is explained how to hold a flute. Currently with pictures, but we will soon add videos, too. If you have problems with note recognition please check the settings of the tonestro tuner (it’s the little tuning fork symbol). You can either tune your instrument until you hit the line, our you can drag the line until it fits your instrument’s tuning. If you have any problems with this or with anything else, please send us a message to support@tonestro.com

Really wish I could use.

My experience with Tonestro has been great when I tried it with my clarinet, but I recently bought a concert D flute and I was disappointed that the app only offers lessons for concert C flutes. :( Hope you guys can add other keys in the future!
