  • “Tell us about what you own “

This app wants to know all about the things we treasure!! The company gets access to the photos, descriptions, etc AND links these to our contact info (which the also have access to)!!!!!! Seriously?!?! Wow!!! Deleted
  • Great idea, terrible execution

It seems pretty apparent the one five star review was written by someone affiliated with this app. It doesn’t do what it says it will, it doesn’t save your comments, unless you go through contortions, and as noted by another reviewer, it has questionable privacy policies.
  • Read the privacy policy

I was curious after seeing a recommendation for this app in the Wall Street Journal. Take pictures of your family heirlooms and record details all about them so your heirs will know why you want them to have your priceless things.

When you read the app’s privacy policy, you’ll see that they use plain language to describe how they’ll collect all this information about your prized possessions and also share it with whoever else they think might be interested.

Sure, they say they’ll take reasonable measures to protect data from the likes of hackers and such, but they don’t make much pretense about not selling or giving away whatever information you put in the app to subsidiaries or future owners of their company or to whichever third-party companies or individuals they might decide to do business with.

You might do just as well to post pictures and descriptions of all your things on social media. Be sure to set those posts so they’re shareable with everyone!

  • Important Things

I love this app to document important and cherished items so that when I depart this world my family will know it’s value and what was its relevance to me!

I wish my mom would have had this app. So many things left behind and questions why it was kept. Who or where it came from? So much history and stories never told …

  • A great idea...but get it working.

The concept is great, the organization quite useable, but I can't get the system to save my photos of things, and therefore, it won't let me add to the collections created by family. The family person using it most so far says she sometimes has to wait a day or two for her photos to save and her things to show up. The Help files are utterly useless for troubleshooting, same for Knowledge Base.
