  • Would give zero if it would let me

So far this app won’t even let me log in. All it does is tell me my password is incorrect. At first I thought it was my fault. So I would continuously reset my password to a different password only to find the new password doesn't work. I have reset my password now probably 15 times and every time I try and log in it tells me I entered an incorrect password.

The best part is, after reaching out to customer service, their response is “try resetting your password”. Seriously after I told them I have already reset the password several times only for the app to tell me I entered an incorrect password.

I can’t believe this place is actually in business. They are really really bad.
  • The worst app I have ever used

I have never seen a worst app in both application and technology. INACCURATE. Delayed. The app itself does not work.

Shameful that apartment buildings buy into this crap.

  • Really terrible app

I work as a product manager for mobile apps and this is got to be one of the worst apps out there. Could be so much better but… obviously the company is not investing in the app experience…
  • Really, in this day in age!

This has to be one of the best ideas and service opportunity for building dwellers in recent years. HOWEVER, HelloPackage has to be the worst company on the planet to answer the opportunity and provide the service. They must sit around all day coming with new ways to worsen their customer experience. If not already, their story needs to be added to business school case studies on how to destroy a good idea. From their process, technology, customer service and mobile app, everything they touch is a fail, nothing works as they advertise. On top of their total fail, they send out memos threatening to charge fees for their own failures. Run away from this service if you can.
  • Never work for me

I have to save different codes from older deliveries because they never up to date, like your item gets delivered today but won’t receive a code until the next 3 days. Such a garbage system they use
  • Worst company to work with and terrible app

If you are not receiving package codes there is no way the app can help you or you can help yourself through the app. It constantly logs you out which is a hassle too but that’s a minor issue comparatively.

If you call, and when someone finally picks up, you receive condescending, rude, incompetent people who cannot wait to get off the phone and mark your call as “resolved”. Probably the most frustrating customer service people I’ve ever had to deal with.
  • Non Functional / Worse than prototype

This application is not ready for actual use by people, and has been forced onto communities which have cut deals to get cheaper package management services. Although hello package has invested into the technology in the package room, they have not done a good job on the application and the overall user experience. No direct way to get help, adds to those problems.

    1. There was some data issue inside their app that didn’t let me login. I was being able to use the web portal.

    2. I would get notifications for a package sometimes, but they won’t show up in the list of pending packages.

    3. They don’t allow generating an access code on the app, that’s only on the website.

    4. Overall navigation is broken, unintuitive and flaky, looks like someone just tried to jam in the website onto the app.

    5. You can’t change the password on the app, and to do forgot password, they render web UI.

    6. There could be an easier or better tool outside the mailroom to check into the room. Luxor for example, has a barcode that can be scanned. They also have iPads so they are much easier to use than the pathetic box hello package has deployed.
  • App constantly freezes or won’t load

App is useless. I end up having to just used the codes sent via email.
  • Who Thought This Was A Good Idea?

No more getting packages dropped off at my door or mailbox! Now, after paying the $30 set up fee required by my complex, I don’t get notified someone sends a package. There’s also a fee if you don’t pick up the package (that you were never notified about) within 2 days. It’s just an awful, aggravating system, and the app does NOTHING.
  • No way to retrieve a password

I mean, coding 101. When you have a software that requires user to identify themselves by logging in, it’s common sense to have a “forgot password” link to help them reset their password.

Not only do I not get notifications that I have a package, it’s extremely difficult to retrieve a password once the system quick you out and you have forgotten your password. This is a major failure from the developer of this app.
