Streaming content with a Chromecast? Good luck connecting, staying connected and then disconnecting when you realise the app is trash.
States good quality audio and 4K streaming. No. Just no. None of the content was clear, stayed blurry on top of audio changing all through.
Downloaded this app. Watched one documentary and promptly canceled my subscription and deleted the app once I managed to get my Chromecast disconnected.

Glitch After Glitch
Downloads seldom work. When I report the issues they can never be reproduced by the software team so, apparently I have the lone iPad in the world to have issues preventing me from watching downloads (or even downloading them in the first place). I’ve deleted the app, signed out, removed downloads, restarted my iPad, and anything else requested of me and issues persist. I can’t even remember the last time I’ve watched a download, but the most recent time I tried, instead of a video I got a black screen with a symbol on it (implying the download obviously won’t work despite having been downloaded successfully).

APP is A MESS!
Good shows but the app is beyond bad. I’m on a free trial and I would subscribe if could watch one documentary problem free. I’ve been downloading each show thinking that would help but the audio goes or the picture goes. I have to close it then start again until it happens again. The worst streaming app I’ve ever used.

No continuous play?!?!?
I’ve never had an issue with the app being buggy or any glitches, and I genuinely love the content on this app. But, there is no option for continuous / auto play when it comes to playing the next episode of any series / show that I’m watching on my Apple TV; and that’s absolutely ridiculous for 2024. Even though I like all the historical content, I hate that I have to stop what I’m doing to go out of the current episode, go into the new one and play the next one, especially if I am in the middle of cleaning or cooking and playing something on the tv in the background. I’ve been subscribed to this app for almost 3 months, and it’s just not convenient; so I’m canceling my subscription.

Good but lacking auto play
It’s a really good app for all kinds of documentaries. But I wish there is an option to auto play for some series that I’m watching.
Great content but unwatchable
Too much glitching , freezing, mobile app is completely inadequate. Some shows fail to load at all. Very stressful having to restart the app every 15 minutes. PC app is better but still freezes.

Download is not working on ipad and iphone.
Great high quality content
I’m really enjoying this app. Yes, it’s a paid app and it’s a bit expensive (which the reason for the 4 star rather than 5), but by comparison I’m paying $80 for History Hits which just slightly less, and I find that the content on this app is of much higher quality. I’ve only had the app for a short while so I can’t content on the volume of the content but so far I have hours upon hours of documentaries I’m looking forward to watching.

Really flaky if you pause a show, takes ages to reboot and often need to quit out and start again. Annoying
