It’s literally the only media player i found that can play and read a proper arabic subtitles, thank you for this amazing app but please add some subtitles delay sync it will be amazing if you do that.

This is the player you’ve been looking for.

This app is free, therefore I have zero complaints. It’s absolutely brilliant and the fact that it plays .mkv without premium subscription is awesome.

Now, having said that, this is a list of features I wish Outplayer had and I would gladly pay for.
- Download manager
- Subtitle downloader
- Resizable subtitles
- Getting artwork and metadata from trakt/IMDb/however it works.
- Gesture controls of volume and brightness

And yes, I do know that Infuse offers all the above and more, but I appreciate that Outplayer is this good yet free, so I would like to give my money to its author. Infuse forces users to subscribe to premium just to play .mkv and I don’t like this approach.

Keep up the good work, Stephen, I appreciate what you’ve done with Outplayer so far.

Amazing!

Sleek, quick and phenomenal codec support. A great looking video player that has everything you could probably ask for.

Keep it up!

Excellent player, not bloated, simple and effective!

Thank you

Absolutely almost perfect
Minimalist design
Background play (screen off / multi-tasking)
Easy 10sec back & forth from lock screen
Elegant color scheme
Elegant app logo
All it’s missing is variable speed play and a more minimalist option to see folders names without thumbnail
Again thank you

Spectacular

Amazing user interface with a video thumbnail that I really like. I would like to see a feature to increase the sound than the default maximum in a future update.

Great app, nice to see hardware acceleration

Great clean app, would be nice to include video colour controls i.e saturation, contrast, hue.. otherwise very nice interface.

Clean video player

If you don’t mind feature requests, I would like to suggest gesture support, SMB share support, download/play URL, and x-callback support (so I can pipe in URLs via Shortcuts).
And it’s really a non-issue but when I transition from foreground to background audio playback (and vice versa), the audio cuts for a split second.
Thanks for making a video player based on mpv!
