One of the best players
I think I've tried 5-6 other players before settling on this one. Very cleanUI. A great File handling without import duplication. All gestures in a right spot. No audio/video issues at all. A lot of codecs handling different file types. The only downside is the lack of a variable pinch-to-zoom gesture in vertical view where user decide the position on the zoom in on their player (note, there is just a single "screen fill-in" option that is not useful). If the Dev added that to the PRO version he'd have an instant customer in me. Overall excellent player app.Show lesslhawro

Great App
I really like this app. It’s very easy to use and is ALMOST perfect.
I’ve come across a bug perhaps when I’m trying to output HDMI or USB C display from my iPad mini 6 to a 1440p monitor. I get a message that outplayer is playing on an external display and it displays a logo in the top left corner but no video is visible. Audio still plays and transport on the iPad screen is still possible.
iPad mirroring and other apps external display works fine but I only encounter this when using this appShow lessArknology

Loving it more and more. While I have Infuse and NPlayer Plus I am now making this my primary player. The only caveat to seven stars - scrubbing videos I tend to trigger the notification window on the phone. I wish we could have an option to move the video scrubber to the bottom of the screen versus having it at the top. Otherwise, I like the new sub menu to skip videos without exiting the player UI. Works better on the tablet though since the screenshot option takes up valuable space :)Show lessDario9999

Everything locked behind pay wall is truly advanced features. Subtitles work great out of the box and you have size and placement, further customization is truly just a bonus feature and I understand paying for it. It will play your videos out of the box. If you want it to play them a specific way in regards to encoding I completely understand paying for that.
I really like the way this app does it’s pay structure and will gladly pay next month with the first of my app budget.
I download a lot of anime and the other apps always try and use the filenames for structure. But there’s no consistency so it ends with just a giant list of all the videos. This app allows you to maintain your files from within the Files and have it display it perfectly.
Honestly this should just be the built in video player for iOS. If this was what the files app was integrated with that would be a dream.
Would love to see a feature for scraping metadata for files and have actual control over it. Often times just want the cover for a show or episode. Don’t want or need anything else changed.
Setting folder icons would be cool as well.
I will note, not sure if iOS issue but it did not create a Files folder until I created a folder from within outplayer. It also didn’t natively recognize the folder I created named OUTPLAYER in Files.Show lessJustwool

If your looking for the best media player on this App Store this is by far the one. It has everything that you will ever need, better than infuse.
