  • Good until it forces you to pay

It’s a nice app for tracking bike rides. Some minor glitches with recording ride durations but otherwise good for recording your rides.
Unfortunately after completing my third ride, the app locked up on me and forced me to a subscription page. It refused to go to any other page so I was unable to export my ride data without paying money. There was no warning this would happen which is pretty scummy. I recommend you use other apps for this reason.

  • No support

Update: crickets from the developer. Will now look for another option. Just disappointing. Moving it to 1 star.

Love the app while riding. Gives me all the info I need during my ride. HOWEVER, once you save your ride you’ll never be able to see your prior ride times again. Instead of giving you the minutes it will give you 0:00:0-0. I reached out to the developer and didn’t even get a response back. If they would fix that issue I’d give the app 5 stars. If you develop an app please make sure you can support it.

Heya, it looks like your email came in during a change of the guard of support and slipped through the cracks. Sorry about that! We've now got support up and running much more reliably, and have taken note of the issue you're describing. It's being prioritized with the development team as we speak and I expect to see an update with a fix soon.
  • Cannot trust accuracy of Bike GPS

I was really enjoying this app. BUT. Recently this app has been inconsistent in tracking speed, displaying 2 or 3 mph when I am doing an easy 13 to 15 mph. This inconsistent tracking provides inaccurate averages for any given ride. Strangely enough it accurately records top speed data. My intention is to dump it after saving all my trip data (by hand, of course), and then buy and download the Pro version to see if that works. I am into loyalty relationships with smart developers. The maker may need to issue app corruption warnings, and suggest downloading the app again.

Hi Yazmataz48, can you confirm that you've allowed location tracking and that the "Precise Location" is set to allowed? You can check this in your Settings app. Precise Location tracking is needed for the app to give accurate and consistent speed readings. Speed is calculated using the onboard GPS sensor. Twice per second your global position is calculated in 3D space (altitude included), and speed is derived directly from this data. Note that accuracy will vary from moment to moment depending on your location and any obstacles obstructing the data stream from GPS satellites.
  • Nice App for tracking bike rides!

After fully purchasing the app and month use, I love the simplicity of the app, and providing me with the information I need on each bike ride. Most important features to me is that it is a one time purchase!!!.
    Why I gave only 4 stars…
    1. Developer says to email him/ her with questions which I did but no answer. Looks like e-mails are going to a black hole.
    2. The app focus on the bike speed giving it the center of the screen. I am not racing with anybody and I don’t care of the speed. However, app doesn’t allow me to switch the screen center information away from the speed like switch to the distanced cycled during the ride or amount of time spent on the ride.
    3. I don’t want to upload my info on to Strava servers, then why it is keep on asking me to create a log in? It is irritating.
Otherwise it is a great uncomplicated app!!!!

  • Wish I Could Use With My Watch!

I have Strava as well, but prefer to track with this app on my phone and Strava on my watch (so I can see my speed on my watch but track the ride with this app). I like that this app shows what parts I was going faster. If it were watch compatible, I’d be able to delete Strava! If you were to make it watch compatible, being able to link with heart rate would be awesome!! I’d buy a subscription.

  • Pretty good but could use a few tweaks

I’ve been using this app since 2020 and have mostly enjoyed it. It is accurate and I love all the statistics and data that it records.

However, being able to retroactively tweak the number of miles from a trip would be very helpful.

Reason being is that it is super easy to forget to turn it off after your ride and then get inaccurate stats because you drove your car 2 miles with it still on.

Also, the app can crash from time to time during a ride and it is super frustrating being on a 15 mile ride and the lose the entire trip because it crashed. So being able to start a new ride and manually input those lost miles would be nice.

Ive found myself saving a trip, then just renaming the trip something like “subtract 2 miles, add 5 miles, etc.”

But I really do like this app and being able to go back and see prior trips is really fun.

  • Not the app we deserved, but the app we received

Micro transactions? Absolutely minimal. (Single 6$ transaction for some cosmetic and cloud features.)
    Ads? No.
Fully featured without any internet needed? Check.
Great UI both for tracking and riding as a speedometer? Check.
    No data harvesting? Check.
Uses less battery while running than my quest 2 does while fully shut down? Check! (go away zuck, stay away from my room)

This is what all apps on the App Store should be about.
Whoever made this app is like the App Store version of a open source saint. (Minus open source, probably because apple). Anyway, just try this app; it’s great.

  • Love the app

As the title says, I love the app, it’s absolutely great, it’s gives plenty of statistics of my rides and I couldn’t ask for anything more of the app itself, but if I could add something more, I would add the function to be able to start rides on my Apple Watch because it would then be so much easier to start my rides and not forget to hit the start button till about halfway through my ride.

  • Stopped working

I’ve used the app and loved it. It seemed to work better than my Aventon app. All of a sudden it wants the upgrade fee of $5.99. I thought it was a free app. No where have I seen you must pay after a certain time. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling, all that did was lose my previous rides. Still would not work without me paying the upgrade/ I’ve sent an email and have not received a reply yet. Thought maybe a poor review would get me a response. If you’d asked me before yesterday I would have given 5 stars. Today it’s 1.

  • Just What I Needed

As a casual cyclist, I don’t need a lot of data. I have the app set up to give me the distance of each ride, the elevation gain, and my average speed. The only thing that could make it any more perfect would be to be able to transfer the data to the Health app, instead of having to enter it manually. Great app.
