Good overall not ptw
Controls are strait forward and easy to use, but tend to freeze up at critical points. Game play is short enough to be playable, but not too long to be a drag on your day. However, the ai is almost useless, So if you are playing assault, you need to figure out a way to capture the base and defend yours pretty much solo. Try and avoid that problem by only playing the death match? No worries, your ai buddies will help you out by dying faster than you can kill the opponent without killing anything. The ai forces you to loose matches until you are at a win rate right at 60%. PvP would be better if there was a way to filter your opponents. Playing vs a credit card hero, or someone who has obviously hacked the game is common, but is worth having patience if you get an evenly matched opponent. Overall a good 3 star game and worth holding onto for further updates. I can see this game becoming a 5 star if they don’t get greedy.

Epic game but...
This app is GREAT! I am a very big fan of big mech fighting robots, and this is the app for me. There is just one problem.
The walking animations. The first time you get a robot, you get a small grey one with some orange designs on it. When you are In a battle with this robot, the walking animation for it is one leg pushes the turret forward and slightly off of the ground. That’s pretty normal, huh? But next, it just stays in the air and slowly goes down. Then that leg finally hits the ground and does the same exact thing the other leg does. All of that loops over and over again until you make it stop moving. But other than that, GREAT GAME!

Fresh and fun!
Great game! Not a “PTW” like the “other robot game.” I had played the latter for a few years, until it was bogged down by lopsided capabilities only available for purchase, and the advent of titans which reduced every game to a simplistic slugfest. Mech Wars is fresh, with intuitive controls and game mechanics, played out on far more interesting battlefields. Tactics and maneuver count more than brute force, as the play is much more fluid and dynamic. Well done!

Fun game
Used to play Walking War Robots until the developers got money hungry. Looked for an equal or better game. I believe I’ve found it with this one. It’s a fun game and easy to play. Give it a try.
P.S. we need more real players in the game as there’s no shortage of AI bots lol

App will not load
Besides videos causing game to crash, I love this game. Spend way too much time playing, but really enjoy it. As of two days ago, I was playing and the game crashed when I tried to watch an ad to double my points. Immediately following the crash, the game stays on the loading page when I first try to open app. I was doing so well in the tournament and first in the league too. 😒

Great game ruined by greedy developers
When I started playing this game it was great. The highest robot in the game required level 12 and took 1000 components to build (producing 10 components at a time)After months I finally made it to level 12 and was building the prime bot. I had 870 components completed when they updated the game. After the update the prime requires 1500 components and freaking level 30! Done. Don’t waste your time just to see greedy developers move the goalposts!

Keeps getting better
I have played this game along time now and it keeps getting better. I can tell they are actually trying so I’m upping my rating. Please just make more matches against actual players instead of the game generated robots.
