Updates keep ruining the joy
When I first started playing this game, it was so much better. They’ve taken away almost all the fun features.
The latest update has ruined the Daily puzzle for me. I cleared every day in January, so there’s a trophy I should have, but no…. It shows all 31 days checked off, but the count is still 30, so no trophy.
Previous update disabled the ability to go back and do one if I missed a day. That sucked, but whatever.
Another previous update removed the ability to use coins to undo, which is extremely irritating because the game keeps giving me coins/tokens/whatever, but zero ability to use them.
~ previously, if I fat-fingered and hit a wrong square that I knew was a bomb, I could use my coins to undo that nonsense and finish clearing the grid. Now? Nope.
What even is the point of coins if there’s no way to use them?
What is the point of a daily challenge if it doesn’t give me the trophy when I do the puzzle every day?
While we’re here: the occasional “Events” all have the same starting date (February 8th of who knows what year) and then the end date for when I clear the last game in the event. So now instead of stats for those puzzles, it gives me overall stats for all games, making the Event stats worse than useless.

Insane bug, unplayable
I love me some minesweeper. And this game was a great version of it. Weeks ago(maybe over a month), the load screen would load up and then it would freeze on the same blank screen. I thought surely they would fix it right away, but no. Its still broken as of this review.
Even if the app is fixed at this point the 2 stars stands. the dev teams priorities aren't on this game and im not going to spend $5 on a game that literally wont work for over a month. Thats insane.Show lessak05live
Great game but has been crashing
UPDATE: I just updated and it’s no longer crashing but I get a teal screen and nothing else :( I appreciate the team working on these bugs though ❤️
Ever since the newest update, my app has been crashing the moment it starts to open. Currently unplayable! Also, I’ve been playing for a long time and I have a few notable critiques.
First, I paid for the ads to be removed, HOWEVER, it also completely removed the option for me to watch an ad when I make a mistake. When I accidentally click a bomb, I have no choice but to restart the entire thing which has led to much frustration. I know before I paid for the ads to be removed I could still continue if I watched one. If I could maybe spend coins instead to continue it would be great.
Second, if you don’t do the daily minesweeper, you can’t access it. For example, if I don’t complete the daily game for today, Nov 14, I will never be able to access it to complete it. I understand that’s kind of the point, but many other games of this sort allow players to go back and play all the days they missed. It’s so satisfying to fill up a month worth of games. Maybe if there was a reward or some incentive to consistently do it everyday I would try harder or understand why I can’t access any previous daily’s, but there isn’t one.
Overall though, I like the game. It’s very fun and I play it every night before I sleep.Show lessXibbey
