Not worth it
Not worth it. The app works but when almost all of the books you scan are offer you $0.28 but they turn around and sell them for MUCH higher, you’re better off selling them yourself or simply donating them and taking a higher price in deductions. It’s understandable to give them a profit margin but another thing to be fleeced!

Dodged a bullet on this one
Downloaded the app and tried to create an account. The app would have you create a password in the middle of inputting address info which, for some reason, hangs the sign up process on my iPhone 15 Pro Max. Glad this happened as it gave me a few minutes to browse reviews while I considered a workaround.
Wow. Rarely have I seen a business generate such negative reviews from users on the App Store. Clearly there are some shady business practices going on here with users all detailing the same criticisms and complaints of theft, misleading business prwctives, and terrible customer service. I'd rather avoid the frustration so I'll be yanking this app off my phone, thank you very much ☺️

These people are vultures
Ziffit: Your book is worth $50 to $100. We would like to offer you 28 cents.

You are much better off donating your books to a library store and taking the tax write-off. Used book dealers will complain that they can’t compete with charities. Fine, but can you tell me again why charities aren’t worth supporting? And why we should instead throw our money at World of Books, which is owned by private equity?

Deceptive Practice
By far the worst platform I’ve used to sell books so far.
Scanning the same book multiple times return different prices. The initial scan is always the lowest, after the third scan or so, with some books you’ll see a higher price offered.
The second major issue that I had was Ziffit claimed that almost all of my books which I shipped had excessive damage when they were received. This is false as the books I sent were from my point of view in excellent to like new condition.

All functionality is lacking
Scanning feature works great but you can’t get labels from the app, you have to log in from a desktop. Furthermore, it’s not very intuitive for creating additional labels for multiple boxes. Also, I can’t login to my account now, and I haven’t received a email to reset my password. I only sent $20 worth of books, but hopefully they don’t gyp me.

Shady, unethical and will rip you off
I sent the company five different orders in five different well packed boxes and received emails that several brand new books were had excessive damage. They didn’t have any damage.
The company also said in four out of five orders that they didn’t receive numerous items and all those items were of course brand new and the higher priced ones
Everything was included in each box and shipment that was sent and there was no damage or missing items. The company is supposedly checking the warehouse however they have already asked me for my trade numbers twice which shows they never bothered to fully read my first email since everything was included
I’d give them negative billion stars if that was an option

Thieves
I’ve turned books in to these people 3 times and they’ve taken a third of the money they were supposed to give me. They say there’s water damage or the book isn’t there even though we don’t seal the box unless we see all the books are there. And they don’t give us the books back so they’re profiting off my books! I’m deleting this app and won’t be using them anymore. They disgust me.

High Rejection
Go with a different app. These guys reject so many of the books you send them and you never get the books back. They also don’t respond to your emails asking how to get your books back that they’ve rejected… so they’re profiting off you and not paying you for your books. They can say whatever they want about what you send them and they don’t send you pictures of what they say is damaged. They’re stealing from us.

Ziffit will steal your books a scam
Let me explain to everyone how this Scam works. They have a percentage of Books that they will claim our damaged. They won’t pay you for them and they will throw the terms of service in your face saying that you agreed to them. They can’t provide any evidence that the book was damaged and then they will sell the book on their world of books website. Scam , about 15% of everyone who sends a book in. That means that you have a chance of not being paid for an item that is in great shape this company should be sued in a class action lawsuit for massive theft. This app is a party to mail fraud, theft by deception, and immoral business practices. We have been selling books for 20 years and have never seen such a pathetic theft ring with an app in the Apple Store. We plead with Apple to remove this app.

Great!
It was a good experience all around. I sent in 8 books and it said they would pay me 25 dollars and they actually did. You don’t have to pay for shipping either! I put my email address wrong at first but I reached out to them and sent the shipping label to the right email. Customer service was great!
