With the Heroes Scanner App, you can use the TrueDepth camera in the latest iPhones to scan and accurately model your feet to order sandals that are custom fit specifically for YOUR feet. The Heroes Scanner App leverages the latest 3D sensing technology and makes it possible to custom fit sandals around the globe. The app utilized the capabilities of the TrueDepth camera that is available in the latest iPhone models to not only capture a traditional picture of the foot, but also capture the depth information. Once this depth information is captured, the app transforms the depth data into an exact 3D model of the foot that was scanned. This model can be emailed to Heroes Sandals for processing. In essence, you can create and email a “copy” of your foot from anywhere in the world. Simply navigate to the measure tab, place your iPhone on the floor, and hold your foot above the camera. The Heroes Scanner will determine when the foot is in the ideal distance from the camera to accurately take a 3D image with the TrueDepth camera.
