  • Strips out essential functionality

    We’ve only switched for two days and we already have a list of grievances for features that have been either completely removed or obfuscated in such a way that will only slow us down during service. Table view defaults to All for servers instead of just their section with open tables, slowing us down by requiring extra button taps before a check can be accessed. Check view and table view no longer show the circle status indicator for fired courses, making it a complete mystery as to whether a table has progressed to entrees without manually tapping into each check and scrolling to the entree course. The interface overall is too large and servers are unable to see as much of the check before scrolling as they were able to in V2. Also requires more scrolling through display groups because of the larger size. The size of the interface should at least be scalable for the user. Magstrip reader now requires a minimum of two swipes to collect payment, as well as superfluous prompts for receipts that our location does not need. Requiring searched items to be explicitly included in the menu assigned to that role completely undermines the functionality of the search function and will require a complete reorganization of our existing display groups. This should at least be able to be toggled on and off from HQ. Items in timed display groups are now impossible to enter outside of the allotted hours. The display group used to simply disappear from the side but servers were able to search for them and enter them that way. This functionality should also be restored, or at least toggled on or off from HQ.

    After the New update, the app force closes when authorizing credit cards with the EMV Reader! Please help!!!!
  • Glitch central

    There’s an issue with every function of this new Upserve app. Major issues include order are being preauthrorised even though guests close our their tabs and tickets not being automatically sent to kitchen. Spent hours with customer service without any solutions. There’s no where to give user feedback. It really hindered our business and we had to change our service model to adjust back to the old version
