Account required to control lights

Latest version now requires account sign up to be allowed to control the very expensive aquarium lights that I own. What the hell, Oase!?

Hello, Thank you for your feedback! With this app version you can control your aquarium controller via the cloud, if you don't want the cloud function, you can of course turn it off in the settings and control it in your WiFi network as usual. If you need further assistance, please contact the support at support.app@oase.com.

The app just got better

After iOS 15 update,the app had issues,but OASE seems to have sorted this

Utter rubbish

App which had nothing wrong with it told me to ‘upgrade’ which I attempted to do, it wont find anything & now I cant control anything. I didnt need or want an ‘upgrade’. Tried deleting and reinstallng the old one but cant get that to work. So Im looking forward to settng aside 2 hours of messing around to do something called ‘Easy’…..slightly ironic…

Poor connection to WiFi

App is easy to set up and use - but the whole thing goes offline constantly. I have to quit the app and re start it to get connected to the master unit . There are 3 bars on the WiFi icon on my phone and on the master unit when it does connect - and always the correct green flashing light on the master unit - so before anyone blames poor WiFi it’s not that. As it’s the only control of devices when you are set up on this it’s a totally annoying pain to live with.

Absolute Rubbish product upgrade

I now have a feature that does not work and if it is not resolved within the next 3 days I will be demanding my installation costs back which was only completed 4 months ago. Please respond!

How to progress from Great to Awful in one step...

Oase have done themselves no favours with this ill conceived ‘upgrade’. My setup has gone from working perfectly well to not working at all. The new App will not allow connection. And I wasn’t given the option to remain on the perfectly acceptable prior version. No User Instructions provided, so very disappointed. Not recommended. Avoid!

Nope, it really is bad!!!

The old app was great. Why change it without warning? Now I have a pond with no WiFi control or power. Why?

Really frustrating

Impose an unwanted upgrade on a system that worked perfectly before. No option not to do this and nothing initially worked. Instructions are difficult to follow and somewhat random in the result. Eventually found that this installed after multiple attempts and failures. Worked ok on my wife’s iPhone but mine would only turn devices on but not off! Then the following morning it worked well enough to turn them off.

The new settings like ‘status indicator’ just produce a blank screen. So if there are any new capabilities, then i can’t find them. I was really happy pre-upgrade and wish it had never been forced on me.
