Thanks for Touch ID but...

Love the Touch ID but please put it on my regular app. Are you testing it out or something? This new app, well, is not needed.

Great Idea

I actually considered changing banks because something like this was not available. So, great move!

However... why this is separate from the Dollar Bank app I already have, I don’t understand. On top of that I spent quite a bit trying to log in before realizing that. Since I cannot copy/paste into the password field, I had to hand type out my long, complicated auto-generated password from my password app multiple times. Yes, face login solved this for the future but still annoying.

So I get registered and logged in finally and am ready to use the app. Except one of the key reasons I wanted it — alerts — is all dimmed out and I can find no way to activate any alerts.

I’d expect this will improve and I’m glad to see it but that’s where I am right now.

Love/hate

Love the new design from the original dollar bank app, but why do we have to have multiple apps for one bank account? All other banks have these features on the main app. Good try, but just put these functions on the other one. I don’t want to have to sign up again on an app for a bank that I already have an app and account for.

Getting There

Here is an example of something really cool... I can appreciate this app. You’ve given customers incredible granular control of all cards. Usually it’s a simple on/off. You’re also now developing for modern screen size/notch and also offering TouchID/FaceID. Now.. take this functionality and insert it into the Dollar Bank banking app. Delete this standalone app and redesign the other. This card control functionality should be WITHIN the main app.. not a totally separate app. You’re on the right track with this stuff. Integrate everything into a single point of contact for customers, support all screen sizes, and TouchID/FaceID. Also, you should be allowing paste functionality in the password field. Customers need to be able to generate a secure and random password from a password manager app and paste it in.
