Updated: Last update Sept 2024 - nothing works - I have always paid for a full year of pro subscription and for the past MONTH I have not be able to use this software-support has NOT replied, app constantly crashes and I am about to delete and request a FULL REFUND after using for many many years with NO issues ***Purchased for my ipad when it first appeared in app store, now using this amazing software on my imac and macbook. It was One of the best by far for the price until NOW!

7 Year PRO User NO MORE!
I'm SO disappointed with this app. After 7 YEARS of paying the pro fees I’ve finally had it. This app used to be awesome, not only did it work 100% fine, their customer service used to be GREAT! Now the constant updates keep crashing the app, making it un-usable. It’s been 2 WEEKS & they STILL haven’t fixed the known update issue! I’ve had to speak w a different service rep each sentence within the same message thread, like they just toss our help requests in a lottery barrel each time we even reply back to the previous rep to answer their question! It’s CRAZY!! This only makes the issue go in circles, where it never even gets resolved! So when they respond in these review comments “please reach out to us in the app”, HA! Get ready for a long & frustrating ride my friends!

Unbelievably useful
An outstanding bit of software, a must for any small business owner using e-commerce, social media, or any form of product photography. The functionality I've found that I didn't know existed when I paid has literally saved me days of work and increased my revenue by helping me get products online and promoted in much shorter timescales. Discovering the web version for desktop use was a game changer.
One request please, be great to have a straighten function to auto rotate content to a natural horizontal / vertical axis.

I love this app…but what would be really good is to have background from other countries as well…like Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge…backgrounds in New Zealand landmarks as well as the Eiffel Tower etc in Paris…something from a lot of other countries and places…
You can use the background in one country but actually be on the other side of the world…please have a think about this because I don’t want people knowing exactly where I am when I’m on vacation

Be wary
I decided to do the free trail- thinking if it was good I’d continue monthly for few months while I did my business product photos. The reminder came up my trial was ending and I didn’t cancel subscription as was happy to pay the monthly fee for awhile. Then I got charged $140. Looked into it- they had automatically signed me up to the one year subscription, not the monthly like it said when I looked into it. Very misleading and if I had my time again I would 100% not use this app because of the way it locked me in under the pretense I was signed up just for the monthly thing if I wanted to go ahead. Do not use.

User Friendly
Easy to use for beginners.
PRO if you want to use more background. Although the background availablity is not as much as I would expect if I’m paying for a PRO. More choices should be added.
All in all, everyone should try. Best for beginners.

Was game changer now very glitchy
I loved this app and promoted it to a number of friends. Many background remover apps are tedious and difficult to work with and the end result can look off. Not photo room. I was impressed with how well it was able to detect the intended focal point and eliminate everything else with very little tweaking needed. The batch feature is the real game changer when working on online listings, shooting photos for an estate sale or auction or just family fun. Fast and accurate. Lately though it’s become VERY glitchy. I load a batch of like 20 but only 5 or 6 show up. I try to upload the remaining 15 and end up with 8 more. Repeated until I get them all. This becomes tedious and frustrating when trying to process large groups. I wait for everything to fully load before editing so not sure why this happens. Regardless of this challenge for the last couple of months, still the best app out there for ease of use, cost and effectiveness

Crashing constantly lately
I’ve had the app for a while now and am generally very pleased with it.
However since the AI was introduced there’s increasing problems and for the last few weeks the app crashes almost always immediately after the original picture has been uploaded.
The app suggests connectivity issues and I have deleted and reloaded it, connected it to Wifi at home as well as my office separately and also tried using it with my mobile phone serves and it certainly isn’t an internet problem.
In the last month I’ve only been able to work with a very small fraction of images as such and am not happy at present.
