  • Love this app, disappointed with the subscription model

I love the functionality of this app, it has made my process much easier to follow and recreate! Absolutely invaluable for keeping track of where pieces are while firing in a community studio.

However, I am very disappointed with the choice to use a subscription model with the latest update. The new features added seem like a significant improvement and reflect what the community was asking for, which is great work from the devs! I would have much preferred a one-time payment to access the broader functionality of the app. With something like a pottery app where I’ll be using it more intermittently as a hobby potter, a monthly subscription does not make sense for me financially. I would be much more interested if it was a one time payment, even if that payment was on the higher end of app pricing.

Hi Little Dishes Crafts, Thank you for sharing your feedback! We're glad to hear that the app has been so helpful for your process and in managing your pieces at the studio! And we do appreciate your thoughts regarding the subscription model. Our goal with the subscription is to continually support and improve the app, ensuring we can provide ongoing updates and new features based on community feedback. However, we understand that a one-time payment option might be more suitable for some users, especially hobbyists like yourself. We'd genuinely love to hear more about your thoughts on this. Please feel free reach out to us at [support email address] so we can discuss your suggestions and explore potential future pricing options together. Thanks again.
  • Yay! New and improved ver!!

Thank you so much for adding multiple options for choosing pics. That’s helps a lot. I have been using this app for a while now, and I really like it. May I suggest one thing though? It will be really awesome to have an option for hand-building. When you go to the app to add “new piece,” there is an option for ‘thrown.’ It will be nice if hand-building option is added on that same tab or have an option of it’s own. I hope I am making sense of what I am saying!😅 Anyway, this is just a suggestion because I really like your app. Thanks for the new and improve update.⭐️

Thank you for your feedback and kind words, they are much appreciated! The ability to record shaping methods other than wheel throwing is one of the most requested functionalities and we are considering ways to add it. We are also glad to announce that the ClayLab Facebook group is being launched as a place where users can share their feedback and discuss new features and improvements; we hope you will like to join it. Thank you again!
