A ton of potential!
I got this game the day it got out, and unlike other games the charm of the bidding, getting new characters and other amazing features this game offers doesn’t ware off. Some of it is simple, but it’s simplicity really makes it great and easy to play. I understand since this is a newish game, there aren’t that many additions yet, but as I’m writing this I’m downloading the first update. A couple of things though, I wish there was a little more character customization, and also the prices for trips suddenly got exceedingly high. One more thing, in this next update, I hope for new furniture! (Also, how do you get those dollars)
Edit: I almost forgot to mention the amazing art references to catch, from starry night to the Lewis Chessmen

Lack of motivation.
It’s cute, great theme, and I want to love it, but there could be some improvements.
For one, your museum is constantly getting robbed. It wouldn’t be too bad except you lose your long awaited money along with the item stolen. You can recover the item. . . but not the money. Lame. Secondly, I was excited to be able to customize my museum, but it’s barely customizable. So there is nothing to work for. I was hoping that if I complete a collection, something cool would happen, like unlocking more stuff or another special reward. Instead, nothing. What would be cool is if, when you get X amount of items in a set, you unlock stuff to customize your museum. Unlock enough paintings, and you unlock stuff to make a regal art museum, enough chess pieces, and you get castle items, zodiac: Chinese museum pieces, and so on. That way we can strive for these really cool, themed museums, yeah!? I’ll hang on to the app for updates. This game has a lot of potential.

Fun, addictive and a few suggestions
Really enjoying the game and having lots of fun with it, but I think there are a few changes that would really make a difference.
1. Ability to buy upgrades in multiples of 10 would really help.
2. Cheaper museum expansions or getting 2 extra slots with each expansion as opposed to 1.
3. More visual customisation options that don’t require ‘bucks’ in order to purchase.
4. Ability to turn off caretaker missions would be good but I can understand why this is not available.
5. Switching artefacts and caretakers could be improved: Not having to cancel a caretaker mission before switching them, making it easier to move artefacts around.
6. It’d be nice to see the differences between the artefacts after the auction, sometimes you just get lucky and so can’t identify where the differences are.
Hope this gives you a few ideas for the next update!

Boring
Great to start with, you can buy art and upgrades but several times a day the silver fox swipes your art. And after the first two upgrades which cost one million and ten million the next upgrade is one billion. Great, only with your art being constantly stolen it takes days to make a few million, it would take months at that rate to upgrade to level three and in the mean time all you can do is buy possibly fake art and get the genuine art you do have stolen, you then have to pay someone to retrieve the art you already bought which got stolen. It gets boring very quickly.

Solid
I must say, I really do enjoy the game. It is a fun twist on the tycoon genre: get as much money as you can and max everything it. I do have a soft spot for these kinds of games, I’ll admit this. However, as of now for mobile, I haven’t seen a game quite like this one. Let’s start with the positives.
The game is pretty unique for touchscreens.
Characters are pretty cute and fun
I like the aesthetic
Artifacts are pretty cool, along with informative descriptions
Idea of auctions, finding the difference to find real artifacts
The idea of exploration (not execution)
All of the caretakers
Gem fountain
Most upgrades
Museum customization (minimal though)
The trending aspect
There are many negatives though:
Not enough guided quests
The second part of auctions are boring
I get artifacts stolen (way) too often
A couple pointless features
The thing that I HATE:
How the artifacts you must buy directly along with exploring prices, chances, and rewards. First of all, the way that the prices scale is way too expensive to be realistic. It took me multiple days to save up enough money

Needs some tweaking.
***I’m revising this review and reducing the stars as I’ve had more time to play the game. The art stealing really is game breaking. I have it happen basically every time I log back into the game. Barely 1PM and I’ve had it done 5 times today already. There is nothing I can do to prevent it from happening. On the off chance the caretaker finds the thief, he gets immediately incapacitated by the thief and the art is stolen anyway. They always take my most profitable item and I lose hours of progress for NO REASON. The art theft adds zero gameplay value to the game and arbitrarily punishes the player. It’s infuriating to have this happen virtually every time I load the game. Give the user an active chance to prevent this with some kind of mini-game if you insist on keeping this unless and frustrating element in the game.
Original review: Interesting game, but needs some tweaking. You’re art gets stolen waaaaaay to often. It cripples your income and sets you way back. It’s basically punishing the player unnecessarily and creating an ad grab. Tapping the visitors is pretty pointless as it provides essentially no income. Progress is slow and the price increases on certain things like exploration is ridiculous. I like the style and unique gameplay, but needs some fixes if it going to hold my attention for more than a few days longer.

Really good just needs more
Awesome game, I think I’ll be playing this one for a while. All the art and statues look great and I love the references ~ I wish there was a way for us to earn cash so I can upgrade the overall look of my museum. It seems the only way to get it is by referring friends...but even then you wouldn’t have enough to upgrade your entire museum. I would love to see some more cool design options to instead of just modern and simple. There is a good amount of caretakers and that’s awesome, but the fantasy art category could use more variety. Love what I’ve seen so far! I look forward to updates!

Good game, could use improvements though.
I’d like to start off saying this first, overall the game is extremely enjoyable and easy to pick up whenever even if it’s at brief moments at a time. The artwork is really pleasing to look see and the game is pretty fun to play.
My biggest issue with this game is moreso the fact “higher valued” artifacts don’t really generate more coins. The player could purchase a painting valued at 10+ million but generate the same amount of coins as something worth 1 million. It’s somewhat of a drawback for me since it basically slows progress. Another problem ( bug? ) I found was during auctions, is telling some of the artifacts apart. There’s been a few times throughout my play through where a sculpture/painting had no differences from the fake ones. Finding the real one in this case is purely dumb luck.
My final thought and suggestion is I’d like to see is more options to customize the museum since there isn’t a whole lot to choose from ( why not character customization too while you’re at it? ). I look forward to your next update!

Suggestion
This game is rather fun to play and has not yet become stagnant, much like other idle games played previously. However, the cost of things compared to the hourly income of paintings is ridiculously unbalanced. Unlike others for me the cost of upgrading the museum is fine. The cost of explorations on the other hand is completely absurd. I have hardly progressed through the game at the time (probably collected only 2 or 3 more artefacts) and the cost of exploration has jumped from $10 million to 100 million! How is this even possible when I simply have not progressed at all in the game and have no where near as much money as what the game is requiring. The only thing I can think of is the developers pieced the start of the game with enough momentum to hook the players, giving them that addictive chase to stay playing; then made it entirely impossible to progress further without in app purchases (real money). Please fix this ridiculous imbalance otherwise I cannot stand playing much longer.

It has potential
Its fun as a concept. But you dont really earn that much more as the game progresses. It takes you ages to save up $1M for the first upgrade, then suddenly they want $10M for the second?! Even the goals, suddenly jumped from costing around $1M to $10M. Thats a big leap and no one is going to stick around logging in every day for a week just to earn enough money to buy one item.
Suggestion: upgrading paintings should increase the earnings by way more. It’d balance the game progression a bit more
