This app comes fully loaded with a complete rule book to help beginners learn rules and tricks to correctly identify the gender of a large number of German nouns, that are conveniently organized in groups of like things from beginner to advanced groupings. I really love this app. I bought the premium near instantly. It has really helped with the learning. Its exactly what I needed.
I just wish that as I'm learning, it wouldn't randomly kick me off the app, losing my streak and my motivation to carry on. If that could be fixed, is would be 5 stars.LoyalOpposition

I am appreciating this game and it was worth $3 for the adless version! A couple suggestions:
• The new noun appears as a layer underneath the Der-Die-Das buttons, and has an ease on its upward movement which creates some drag in the game as I have to wait to see the word and especially its definition. I would love if the new nouns were positioned to be fully visible right away.
• there’s also a lag issue for me as the more complex (yet very beautiful) scenes load, such as the Brandenburger rainstorm.
• if the game could tell which nouns you got wrong at first and show those more often than the ones you always get right, this could be a more helpful study tool.
• I like that levels are gradually unlocked. Further motivation could be created by the words moving faster as the points go higher, as well as a definite end to each round. When I got to the third category in a set, I played it way longer than was fun because I was waiting for another “unlock” reward that didn’t come.
This game is well on its way to be one of the best in its category in the app store, and a few of these gameification tweaks would really help it shine and solve the big issue foreigners face learning noun genders! Thanks for you hard work!Show lessAdomissioner

The apps simplicity gives it its charm. Helps you with your German articles (masculine / feminine / neuter!)
It is horrendously tedious if you don't buy premium but thats £2.99 and in my eyes, worth the cost.
My only really grievance is the animation itself. I'm expecting pots of mistakes. Lots of restarts. I would much more appreciate more glow and less animation. Correct. Correct. Correct. Incorrect. Not fussed about records or balloons falling flwn and watching screen transitions!
Just keep thtowing thrm at me!

I grew up hearing German from my relatives, but not enough to be fully bilingual, and my biggest weakness in speech production has always been that I never memorized articles. If you are in a similar situation where you already have a big German vocabulary but need reenforcement of articles, this app is ideal. Well worth $3, provides very helpful tips, and you can see improvement with your articles by playing for just a few minutes per day. Thank you!

This is a great app. Without it I get zero right (it’s like I’m perfect for getting these absolutely wrong). With it I get them a section all correct in 10 minutes. Well worth it and fun!Bekachu
Great app with great memorable advice
I love this. Only just started using it. I’ve been learning German awhile now and struggle with gender of words. This app makes learning the genders fun and has brilliant rules and concepts for remembering what is masculine, feminine and neuter.
