Pro version doesn’t read captured text
Tried using the reading option after capturing a text image but all it does is to allow the language selection but nothing else. Using Apple’s built in accessibility seems to offer more capabilities.

Hello 1Din, we are very sorry to hear that you are having a bad experience with Text Capture. Please ensure that your device isnt muted by toggling the mute switch on the side of your phone and then you will be able to hear the text out loud.
Bad
Doesn’t let you actually copy the text without a purchase. In fact, pretty much anything you want this for other than putting the text on a new picture so you can read it better is paywalled. That means you gotta buy it

Where do I get ahold of the owner? And is it a one time fee, or is it monthly?

All functionality requires purchase. Free version serves as a demo of the OCR only.

A great choice for OCR
I’ve been using this app to copy content from textbooks and it works great!

I’m having a great experience using this app so far. The text recognition works as good as advertised and being capable to translate and hear the text is great!

I found this app browsing and I couldn’t be happier!! My son is multi-lingual and this app is great for his studies. Just point and shoot and the text is copied...then you have multiple options to edit, translate (his favorite part) or read it back aloud (my favorite part). Look forward to seeing this easy to use app grow.
