Not accurate enough
I use the app to copy LoraWAN DevEUI's (32 characters printed clearly on a box). The app gets z's mixed up with 2's. Not good enough.

This App is so glitchy and annoying I don’t know how we’re supposed to use this but I hate it This company is the way I will never install this app ever again I do not recommend

Simple to use and accurate, how an app should be.
Can a saved scan be deleted?
I really like the app and it works about as good as I would expect. I haven’t encountered any significant issues. Sometimes the text is misspelled or is formatted incorrectly it these issues are easily solved.
Great for uploading ingredient lists into myfitness pal!
Tried several scanner apps this one is the most accurate.
Useless unless you pay
I mean I would pay for extra features, but if I have to pay to just copy text, that’s pointless. Basically you turn an uploaded picture into useless text, that is equivalent of a picture, because you can’t interact with the text. Also, the text is out of place.

works but after u take the photo and try to copy the text u get told to buy it for $4. wasting time. i could have been looking for another app. why wait until after i struggle with the photo taking part (the button is so small)

Text Capture is one of the best OCR's I've seen in a long time. I notice many of the negative reviews are from people who complain it's not free (hardly an unbiased review).
I did a quick scan from a photo and the process was flawless. Attempting the same using TextGrabber by ABBYY, I kept getting "unable to recognize the image" error every time using the same photo.
I am very satisfied with this app, and am done searching for any more of this type. Highly recommended!
