scummy business practice
just list the price at 3.00 right off the bat. you're toying with customers perceptions. if you believe your product is quality, stand behind it with a price tag. Most things that ARE good are going to cost money on the app store.

It doesn’t read then I turned on silent mode off
1. So I think this would be common mistake but too common and many people wouldn’t know what to do. Could use a warning.
2. The instant capture doesn’t take proper punctuation so it will read weird. Instead take picture and use this app to scan and read to hear more natural reading
3. With that said this app should have camera feature, so I don’t have to take pictures out side and import to here. I mean if I was going to take multiple steps and gestures, there are free options ^^

Potentialll ?
Decided to give this app a go for some school work ended up taking my money for premium when I don’t remember paying, after pressing restore purchases it wouldn’t work and now I can’t get in touch with customer services, please help !
This app has a lot of potential just need to delete the unnecessary features like all the coloured text coming up in one go and better customer support and maybe a monthly subscription of £2/3 so customers stay

Terrible
Doesn’t recognise anything other than screenshots of text already in a clear font - handwriting is useless. Everything requires a subscription, you can’t even COPY text. What’s the point?
Garbage app
Requires you to pay 4bucks to copy the texts you get from the app with as little as I do something like this I assume it’s similar for most people. I won’t pay for something so trivial when I’m sure there’s gonna be an app to do it for free. I’m off to find it now maybe this will help someone save time.

this ocr has far exceeded my expectations in every way. speed, accuracy, ease of use.
i have a very well reviewed desktop scanner, and this iphone ocr beats it in terms of speed hands down - no comparison - and the accuracy seems about equal - both high enough for my use. perhaps one or two errors every 100 characters.
i’m a law school student with lots of reading and writing, and this has really changed the way i work. scan text, email editable file to laptop, cut and paste, do whatever you want to do, all seamlessly. no more manual typing to create an editable file. am i going over the top if i were to say that this product has delivered the greatest expectation-to-actual-result positive ratio among anything i’ve ever owned? i don’t think so. for a cup of coffee. when are you coming out with the capability to ocr asian language? that’s what i’m waiting for. you have set a very high standard for yourself.
