Reviews of MindPal

  • Fun overall

Overall, the games are fun. They’re challenging, and I like seeing how I’ve improved and how I compare to others. There are a couple of games that are unfair and should be removed, such as Slicer and Word Trim, and there are some games that you never play. I’ve hit a wall with Synonyms, as there are times when 4 words have the same meaning and I get marked wrong for choosing correct synonyms. Also, I lost my streak twice. I have this set to get a reminder at 1, but I never got the reminder. I play Wordle on this app every day and have lost my streak 3 times even though I never skipped a day. I lost a 90+ day streak today even though I didn’t skip a day or get the word wrong. Recently, the percentiles changed drastically. What used to be a 99.9 percentile is a much lower one, like in the 60s and 70s, even if I reach a personal best. How can one score be in the 99.9 percentile and then a personal best on the same game be in the 60th percentile? Either so many new people are playing easier levels and skewing the scores or these percentiles are made up.
  • Why I love MindPal,

MindPal is an awesome game, but it teaches me how to understand grammar, math, reading, etc. I personally think this is the most fun and interesting game because it isn’t just a game it makes your knowledge grow and grow, I personally love MindPal because it’s also entertaining and it has multiple games! Now don’t get me wrong on this but I really don’t like the rules of the games until I keep reading and reading it and then I understand how to play. And some games unlock every week but sometimes the 3rd or 4th game is still locked like if I completed two workouts and it tells me that the 3rd and 4th games are locked, so then it gives me options either I want to watch and ad, write a review on the game, and just continue playing. Now I press watch an ad because I want to see what the games look like and when I’m done watching the ad it only unlocks the 4th game and I’m like bruh. Sometimes I like MindPal and sometimes I don’t cause this dude sometimes gets annoying…. NOTE FOR MINDPAL: when I watch the ad can you please unlock the 3rd game too?
  • 5 star pending on unnecessary ad distraction

Waiting to see if this app, like most, gets deleted because of the pestering ads and pop spam of guns, violence to women, and unsavory deaths being promoted. Right next to gambling, gambling and more gambling. Really? How can we pay, one time, one dollar, for one year of ad free use? Talk about getting a following of repeat customers:)! Kids who are smart will take this idea and run with it. Old farts like me are tired and sick yo death of the yuck on these ads… Stresses us out to no end. Makes us delete apps and throw our expensive phones on thick bedding and pillows. I hate seeing more death or money addiction in my face. Boo on making women and children suffer by looking at horrible representation of themselves.
So far so good after 10 days. But the ads are getting violent or disappointing by day; saw my first “math” using guns and battles, “Game” yesterday. This is supposed to be a brain development and stimulation app. Get the guns and money out of children’s and educational apps!
