Daily chance to engage brain
Daily reminder to think and put the brain in gear. The puzzles are just slightly beyond my reach which challenges me to try harder. I sometimes play the accessible games for the week in my spare time. Some games just don’t seem to get my brain to work out but I keep trying. I am now at the point where there is not a lot of room to go higher which makes the game even harder. Lots of scope to dredge out my maths and physics skills as well as word knowledge. The only tiny frustration is the American spelling vs. Australian spelling in word games. I would like to better understand the difference with PRO but so far I have enjoyed it.

Still loving this brain twister and playing every day
How do I update the background? I’m sure I have done it before.

My Opinion
I have been playing the free version of this app. For more than a year. Today I decided to pay for the subscription version. I was happily surprised 😳 by the lifetime payment. Which is what I chose. I thank you so very much for how easy . Making the payment was. Thank you everyone, who helped this app seem more like. Playing games instead of brain training. As I have had 2 small strokes. My memory was shocking. After a year of playing it for free. I noticed a lot of. Positive changes. Thank you to everyone who is involved in making this such an amazing and exciting experience for me. I have paid a lifetime subscription for this wonderful app. With all my thanks going to everyone involved in creating, this wonderful app.
My sincerest gratitude goes out to all involved in this amazing app. Thank you all so much.

MindPal
EXCELLENT SELF KNOWLEDGEABLE, FUN, aggravating, enjoyable!! Free to play and Uonly need to pay if U want to compare yourself to others in your age range——But I m actually interested in making sure that I am up to par and not losing my abilities as I age. If start to slip in any area than I practice that particular area until I am able to become better. By the way it’s not just your mental abilities that U can lose if not used U can lose your physical abilities also if U don’t use them, so besides keeping your brain active also keep physically active. At 82 strangers will stop me and say I don’t act like old people that they know. So every day I not only thank the developer of MindPal but also The Almighty. Besides playing “MindPal” daily I also play #The Brain” I think the developer needs to add a few other descriptive words, besides education So that when checking it out in the App Store, etc. a person Can see that it’s also extremely fun, self knowledgeable And sometimes can be aggravating. That would definitely attract a lot more people to download it. This game is for any age I have a couple of young teenage cousins that love to play it and compare their scores to mine

Fantastic App 😊
Love the app and the exercises. I know that the game has to have some not free features to bring money in to keep improving the game, etc, however I do wish that there was the ability to play more games per day. I love the daily workouts though. If I could pick one feature to have available though for free is the ability to compare my results and my overall scores to scores of people my age because it helps me to focus on a goal of what to strive for but without that it is difficult for me to create my own goal or know what my score really means and so I wish it was an available feature for more than just the first couple of days. Although, really, I just love this game because even without some features mentioned previously you get so much out of this game and it is great and definitely helps a lot. I give my recommendations.

Fun overall
Overall, the games are fun. They’re challenging, and I like seeing how I’ve improved and how I compare to others. There are a couple of games that are unfair and should be removed, such as Slicer and Word Trim, and there are some games that you never play. I’ve hit a wall with Synonyms, as there are times when 4 words have the same meaning and I get marked wrong for choosing correct synonyms. Also, I lost my streak twice. I have this set to get a reminder at 1, but I never got the reminder. I have this app on two devices using the same account, but one device says I have a streak of 1 and the other says I have a streak of 373. I play Wordle on this app every day and have lost my streak 3 times even though I never skipped a day. I lost a 90+ day streak today even though I didn’t skip a day or get the word wrong. Recently, the percentiles changed drastically. What used to be a 99.9 percentile is a much lower one, like in the 60s and 70s, even if I reach a personal best. How can one score be in the 99.9 percentile and then a personal best on the same game be in the 60th percentile? Either so many new people are playing easier levels and skewing the scores or these percentiles are made up.

Makes my brain happy!
I don’t usually buy games after a trial period because I’m so picky and don’t like to spend money on things I won’t use. (I also don’t often leave reviews!) I play this every single day and now it’s just part of my daily routine. It helps me gently wake up and get my brain doing stretches instead of that awful morning anxiety! There is a good variety and they are all simple but still challenging. I like the fact it offers you one alternative game for each of the 5 you do as part of your daily workout. After that you can play any game as much as you want. Sudoku blocks is quite addictive but relaxing! I love that there are very specific grammar related games eg. removing the extra word. It’s also a great vocab builder. It can really help you improve confidence with maths as it has with me!
I’ve tried a few brain training games and this is the only one that has stuck!

Remember how to play
After a few games, MindPal assumes you remember what to do to score, and there are heaps of games. I’m sitting at extreme beginner for two areas because how I tried to score didn’t work, and so I got a wrong answer. There should be a way to get a reminder of how to score for those who might need it. Otherwise, this is a challenging and fun way to exercise the mind. Very frustrating.
