Good and helpful
This app’s helped me out a lot with making cocktails from drinks I’ve heard of to drinks I never knew existed, the reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because there’s some recipes that you have to do a 1 time membership fee to get when you can just look up those certain cocktail recipes online so it doesn’t make any sense to restrict those recipes from the people when we’re gonna fine out eventually, but it’s still a good and helpful appShow lessRoger1526

This is one slick app. It was an instant upgrade to the premium version as soon as I started using it. It’s both beautiful and functional, and the recent update added even more value. As a former fan of the simple yet effective Bartender’s Choice, which has not kept up with software updates, Barspoon excels in every way: you can create your own inventory and search for drinks you can make with what you have, you can browse by a variety of drink categories or by a major ingredient (I have been enjoying the Riffs on an Old Fashioned), the search function is effective, there are profiles of mixologists and the extra information on each drink, the ability to mark a drink as tried as well as having the option to select a favorite is a great way to keep track, and so many other features that all add up to Barspoon being the essential one-stop cocktail app!Show lessTansal

I’ve been keeping the cocktail recipes I find online in a note taking app. BarSpoon takes care of everything in one app. It keeps track of recipes I’ve tried and those that I love, my ingredients on-hand, and provides tons of information ranging from bartender lingo to the history of every drink. Sorts cocktails in so many categories.. by city, ingredients, spirit.. whatever you’re looking for! Even tells you the glass type to use and garnish. Love it! Also love that I can save my favorites. Simply the best cocktail app. Professionally shot photos of the drinks, easy to read and follow recipes. While some apps are visually overstimulating or waste space on inessential “fluff”, BarSpoon is well thought out and thorough, yet to the point. Think of a very nice coffee-table book, but in app form… And still incredibly useful and relevant. I used the free version for a while and was happy to pay the fair price for the full version.Show lessah snap

It’s a nice sleek app BUT it doesn’t allow pic thumbnails for each of your custom drink recipes so the custom drink serration looks like an extremely boring list. Also the custom drink section should be easily accessible as one of the dots you can toggle to on the main app screen. Wish I didn’t unlock premium for $4 just to realize can’t add thumbnail previews. I opted for Cocktail Hobbyist instead which allows thumbnail picsShow lessB12987

If you cannot find a delicious cocktail and recipe on this app then you may need to go to the eye doctor or phone a friend for help!
