This app is equal parts mixologist assistant and history lesson. The layout and functions are very sleek and the entire app has a very handsome feel to it. You can tell the creator has a passion for this. You can browse and search any which way you like, by time period, by taste, by ingredient, by region, and more. The recipes are detailed and easy to follow, with measurements in both oz and ml for international users.
In addition to being a helpful manual, BarSpoon is an easy-to-navigate guide book for the world of bartending. There are tabs for common bartending lingo, tools, tips and more. You can explore drinks specific to certain spirits, by taste preferences, and even by city of origin and/or time period. Some of the drinks even have fun facts attached for that extra flair.
The app is easily customizable with options to save recipes, mark them as tried, and even add your own.

So post Covid I got into craft cocktails. found this app and it was perfect. The recipes are quality and from the original bartenders. The photography is amazing. And I can add my own recipes as I make tweaks it’s everything I was trying to do on a spreadsheet or leveraging multiple websites in one place. Could be the best four dollars I’ve ever spent.
