Beautiful gameplay
I have been a big fan of the Wingspan board game for a while and purchased the app version to enjoy with my partner while away from home.
The game play is great and really maintains the charm and beauty of the original game. The music is lovely and the sound effects are peaceful and enjoyable. Oftentimes when switching a board game to a digital medium you have a hard time making the game navigable on a screen. A board game gives you lots of visual access to information that can either be lost on a screen, or make the screen too busy to understand. The developers of the digital game have done a great job toeing the line between providing visual information and making the game navigable.
Overall, this app is a really enjoyable rendition of the game, and the long distance game play has been hugely entertaining.

Awesome game, but needs optimizatiom
Beautifully made game with amazing music. The game mechanic is definitely fun to play. I love playing this game on my iPad, but it can get slow at times. Hopefully it will be optimized in the future for smoothness during gameplay.

Great game. Glitchy app.
The game works great overall on the app. However there are some glitches that are irritating. Mainly that if you close your phone down, then reopen an online match when you receive notification of 'it's your turn' - the game loads into the match, you can see everything but it says no internet connection, causing need to go back to the main menu and re enter.
Just frustrating as it can sometimes take 1-2 minutes just to get back in to take a turn.

Fun game but..
This is a fun game however, playing this European game and clearly set in holland with the opening scene with the dutch windmills and tulips so beautiful and wonderful feels too for those of us who are of European Celtic heritage who’s families had to flee countries like wales scotland ireland in the coffin ships in the face of genocide, this really gives a feel for my heritage and roots which is so so needed for many of us these days part of the larger diaspora of displaced people, especially those that are of Gaelic ancestry however it is very disappointing to see that half of the humanoid characters options are African and the European looking options are drawn quite ugly or as like crocodile-dundee style garb.. please make this a fair more accurate representation for this that are needing connections to their true heritage and roots thank you.

Love Wingspan
My favourite game. Just wondering if it’s a fix or meant to be that when you play a bird that lets you play another bird after it that it doesn’t count as having played two birds?
Also birds that count double towards end of round goals don’t count as two birds?

Obsessed
I have the physical copy, app version, and Steam version of this game. I love playing with others and with my friends and family. App works great, so glad I bought this game.
Amazing game ruined by so many bugs
***update*** It’s got worse to the point I no longer play the game anymore. It’s so frustrating to have multiplayer games get deleted all the time after spending weeks playing them with friends. It’s been happening since the last expansion but the developers don’t seem to care and just blame the company who host the servers.
Amazing game but it’s been ruined by the latest expansion. The expansion itself is great and makes the game even better, but the amount of crashes and bugs since it was released has made the game so frustrating to try and play. I hate giving a bad review for such a great game, but the bugs crashes and lost games in progress is getting worse with each patch.

Great game! App drains the battery
I love this board game and think the mobile adaptation is pretty good! Only reason for 4 stars is that app drains the battery and gets way warming than it should for a mobile board game.
Also great for offline play
Wingspan is my fave game and especially good for passing time on long haul flights with no internet! Since the last update it crashes way less often. I do look forward to them adding more of the bird cards as the game develops but it’s a terrific way to get your Wingspan fix.
