Informative commentary
I love reading the commentaries on scripture plus. They are insightful about spiritual as well as academic topics related to the book of Mormon. Of course, the primary reason I studied the book of Mormon is for spiritual guidance, but it’s also strengthening to have the extra academic research concerning the text itself. I am beginning to understand better now the difference between the small and large plates. It makes more sense to me after reading the commentary about the words of Mormon and the 116 pages that were lost, I can’t say enough about how much I appreciate this extra resource to supplement my scripture study every day. Varied scripture study tools
I still primarily use Gospel Library to study and read and mark my scripture insights, but I’ve enjoyed the videos, scripture study plans, Deity highlighted titles and Deity-spoken words. I’m reading the Book of Mormon in ScripturePlus this time around with the non-verse structure closer to the original print structure holding to get more out of my study. I also enjoy the flow between chapters without flipping the page and getting distracted. Great tool. Great people behind it. The best study programme.
For me this programme has given me a guided plan which I can follow. However, the best part are the supplementary sections which give so much insight to the material being studied. Original documents and often rare snippets if information is provided which helps illuminate scriptural themes. I would recommend this app to everyone who wants to seriously study scripture.Show lessMeshugim
Great study aid.
I really love almost everything about this app. I thought about taking 1 star off because this year there has been a tendency from time to time to have only the daily scripture available without the extra commentary. Sometimes this happened for a week at a time. Then all of the extra commentary for that week would show up in a day. That is a lot of makeup reading for a busy mom who is barely finding the time to get through the daily sections. I found it frustrating and nearly gave up a couple of times but I’m glad I stuck with it. My study habits have never been stronger and I owe that to this app. For a free app it’s amazing! For a trusted tool it could use a bit more reliably. My guess is the problem comes down to resources and I pray that they will be blessed with those resources to build this app to even greater things in the future.Show lessEnomrah
Disappointed
I have just opened up Scripture Plus to find that I have “missed” ELEVEN days, despite reading everything posted for those days. Going back I now find commentaries have been added, increasing each day to at least double the original posting. 11 days is a long time - if you can’t organise the readings for each day in time perhaps you need to not be so ambitious in your endeavours. A few days, perhaps, but ELEVEN!
Going back is fine, but the study becomes a bit disjointed when so much time has lapsed. I mentioned this before, and the problem has not improved. Some of the commentaries are very ‘high brow’ and while adding something, are not always easy to read nor essential to understanding. I love the overviews - they on the other hand add more to understanding than any of the commentaries- they are brilliant!
Please, if you can’t complete a day’s reading post, leave it as it is. I have been expecting this to happen, the readings have been so sparse. If you can complete the year it would seem you are spending your time unwisely. Surely it would be better to complete each day before going on to the next, yet you have all the readings for the rest of the year (minus commentaries).

Daily part of my routine
I love focusing on a few verses at a time. I have come to enjoy opening each of the insights for these verses. The in depth approach is new to me over the past year. I have really enjoyed all I am learning from the excellent commentaries and addresses tied to specific verses. Thought provoking
I love this app. It really helps me to ponder the scriptures more and have insights to what I am reading. It has brought the scriptures to life for me. I love the videos I get to watch each day and I feel enriched because of studying with it. Sometimes I wish I could just listen to the scriptures. That would make it 5*s.Show lessElisakate
