  • Great- except RootsTech Banner

    I really enjoy Family Search. Very helpful tool. I do have an issue when they put the RootsTech banner up and I’m trying to attach a source using tasks on my phone. I often times can’t see the attach button when the keyboard gets brought up to type in the reason for attaching the source. I don’t know if it’s only because I have a smaller phone, but it would be nice to hide the RootsTech banner. I only have issues when that banner is on there.

  • What Matters Most

    As I record my interactions and experiences about things of eternal importance my heart turns more fully to my Savior Jesus Christ. I come to realize more each time how He knows the thoughts and desires of my heart. How the smallest things are important to Him because they are important to me. One Sunday morning I was thinking about how wonderful it would be to pray for a group out loud. My sweetheart and I were serving a mission and I rarely received the opportunity to pray for the group of missionaries we were serving with. The director seemed to have his favorites that he asked regularly to pray. The thought passed quickly from my mind. Later that morning in church the elders quorum counselor asked me if I would give the closing prayer in priesthood meeting that morning. I was amazed that he was prompted to ask me. He didn’t know me and had never asked me before to pray. How truly amazing that was, something so small and yet it had been the desire of my heart! How I love Him!! He knows me! He suffered and atoned for me! Because of Him I will be resurrected and live eternally with my loved ones in His Holy presence!

  • Memories app

    Memories is a great app as it allows me to add pictures to FamilySearch. An example was couple weeks back was in a museum that had books for sale. The book was about local service people that served and or died in WWII. There was a picture of my mom’s sister’s husband that was KIA in WWII,
    had not previously see. I was able to instantly add to FamilySearch
    and give credit to the book.
    I show others how to add of funeral programs to their kins data in F/S. In fact I did that today with a new member of their aunt.
