Highly Recommend!
One of the best apps out there!! I’m somebody who regularly watches videos at 2x speed. It’s become a normal speed for me. One day I randomly questioned if I could watch videos at a faster speed, and I found this app! It’s awesome, I’m now able to watch at 3x and 4x. I’ll even do faster for videos that are more visual than audio. It’s greatly improved how much content I can watch in a day and I’m hugely thankful to the developer(s) for creating it! They’re the real M.V.P!!

I did have to go into the Safari preferences and set it to show up on specific / all websites (for some reason I wasn't being asked despite that being the default, but this may have been interplay between this and Vinegar). After that, though, this works perfectly, allowing me to quickly speed up / down without having to reach for the mouse. Awesome!
The one thing I'd ask is also being able to control subtitles with a keyboard command, since this is the other item that causes me to reach for the mouse (albeit much less often than for the playback speed controls). Not sure it is possible, but I didn't think that the speed controls could be exposed to the keyboard either, so ...

I really like all the customization options including shortcuts, where the notification is, and the interval that speed is adjusted at.
I was really worried that this extension wouldn't allow me to adjust speed in 0.1 or 0.05 increments, but it does! Just click on the keyboard shortcut for adjusting speed in the settings, and you can also change the interval of adjustment. Thanks so much for including that feature!

Hi! In order to save any changes after editing one of the speed textfields, could you try pressing the Enter/Return key?
Finally found something that works :)
I have stayed in other browsers because I could not find a good extension for default video playback speed, and good shortcuts. This finally allows me to ditch the other browsers. Thank you!
