Good but some settings won't save
This app works well but the Default playback speed, minimum playback speed, and maximum playback speed settings will not save after being edited. This isn't the biggest deal, since I can just add a shortcut toggle to go to my preferred playback speed quickly on startup (1.75x), but it would be nice to set the default for all videos to be that fast and instead toggle down to 1x when needed. All other settings are saving properly, and I tried restarting both Safari and my whole computer before writing this review so I don't think it is user error.

Response from developer
Hi! In order to save any changes after editing one of the speed textfields, could you try pressing the Enter/Return key?
wonderful extension
I watch almost everything in 2X or even 3x. Therefore when there is a video that I can't control going 1x it is very frustrating to me. Sounds like it's in slo-mo. So I am super happy to have found this app that will help me listen most all the videos in 2x at least. I need to look and see if I can go up to 3X yet. If not I hope they offer that feature somday :)

MacOS ver.: VGood, iOS ver.: Default Settings only
Again, great implementation on MacOS, but since I started using the iDevice variant, a) every input setting on the General app tab refuses to acknowledge changes to the playback speed multipliers or increment; on the Shortcuts app tab b) every created shortcut ignores user input and reverts to DEFAULT settings, and c) every Standard shortcut that is edited either resists editing entirely or replaces the Standard shortcut with the Default values from a newly created shortcut (in order to preserve the Standard shortcuts, the app must be clean re-installed).
If the speed notification corner or the Keyboard shorts in the Standard shortcuts were in conflict with our workflow, I'd have to find another solution. Thankfully, the Standard shortcuts and General settings are tolerable. thx

Does everything I need
I used the Video Speed Controller extension for Chrome, but ever since switching to Safari, Accelerate is the perfect replacement! Love it β€οΈ
Love this functionality
Definitely need this plugin to make safari usable.
It Works
Worked like a charm first time! No more boring, slow videos for me! I plan on dancing on my future grave with all the time I'm saving - thank you!
Perfect!
Initially I thought this was just an "okay" replacement for Video-Speed Controller on Chromium browsers. But, that changed when I realised you can add additional controls like "skip forward" and customise your keybindings for those additions. Awesome app! 5/5
does not track sensitive data
Contacted the developer, read several things on Java and extensions (rather technical), seems not to be a problem. App works well for language learning, slows things down for me.
Good only at 2x speed
if you go beyond 2x speed the sound of the video stop. I prefer to use video speed controller on google chrome I can go to 4x speed if i want with no problem
Setting for max playback speed doesn't work
