Deeply disappointing
It’s slow, fumbly, and ignores basic UX/UI considerations. It’s something I’d expect a high school IT class to produce on a short deadline.
Little to no refinement of design, handling of images is atrocious (which is awful for a system predicated on sharing visual *evidence*), response is slow. There needs to be a complete overhaul of this app to make it function if they expect to last more than a few more years.
Management of a parent’s account and profile should be entirely in the hands of the parent/caregiver, not the school. Uploading a profile image to identify the parent should be possible in app (and even though it’s only available through web it doesn’t work!), many of the top level options in the settings are irrelevant or ‘set once’ considerations and shouldn’t be where they are.
Cannot imagine how this company managed to secure the contracts they have other than absence of competition with sufficient ISO certification to obtain public sector tender.

Not working
Unable to clock in the observations and if by some miracle it opens the observation it just freezes

Sorry to hear that you are having issues. Parent submissions and comments are kept private for privacy reasons. If you would like to both see each other's submissions you can use the same account. "Parent" is the default display name for parent accounts. The School/Nursery can change the display name for your account. You can also change it yourself by logging into your Evidence Me account on the web https://evidence.me then click on "My Profile" and change the "Display name" field. Thanks for your comment. There is a feature that will add email notifications to both parents and teachers. The school has to turn this feature on. If the school are unsure of how to use this feature then they can contact our friendly support team at support@evidence.me
