Just tell it like it is
When I first signed in to this app there was a lot of content available to me free - or so I assumed. However today - there is no access to the content I had yesterday - now I have to sign up for premium. Just be up front about it and let people know they are only going to get the free content once - as far as I am concerned that is false advertising so shame on you

Hello, I'm sorry that you felt like something changed in the app, but the content that is accessible to free vs. premium users has not changed, and does not change unless they choose to upgrade to a premium account. Is it possible you were looking at the grammar lessons at one point, and then confused them with Course Units? We offer 3 free Course Units, but all of the written grammar lessons are free.
Great Lessons, buggy quizzes
I was looking for an app to brush up my spanish. This app is great. Totally worth the subscription price. Lessons are concise and told clearly. I’d say this is really effective for beginners. There are glaring errors in the quizzes though. Not really errors, more like case sensitivity that leads to confusion. In one question I had a wrong answer because one letter was not capitalized. This word was not the start of the sentence, nor was this a proper noun. There was no reason for it to be capitalized. Another answer was wrong because I didn’t type a space after the word. This was really confusing because no space was needed when i answered other questions. This can be incredibly frustrating and confusing for people trying to learn the language. Fix the quizzes and i’ll give this app a perfect score.

Studyspanish.com has always had excellent grammar instruction on their site. Now they have an app! You can find those grammar sections for free here. 🙏 There is also lesson-type experiences for premium membership. ¡Gracias a ustedes!

I have tried so many apps and websites! I have asked for a refund or cancelled most of them because they just aren’t worth the money. This app (and website) are amazing!!! The learning path is clear and comprehensive. So much so that I wish I found it earlier because it would have saved me a lot of trouble piecing things together. Second of all, the audio lessons are amazing! The explanations are clear and the translations are provided, if I choose to look at them. The lessons give me choices I’ve always wanted, but never had before. I can listen to either a line or a lesson on repeat, which is so helpful if it’s challenging. I can also change the settings to allow me more or less time to “respond” verbally. It was endlessly frustrating to have to rush to pause other lessons because I needed more think time than provided. As I improve, I won’t need the time, but it sure helps at first! The controls allow me to be hands-free and still have the lesson at my individual pace. All that to say, this is an excellent place to learn the basics of Spanish! It’s not a visually flashy app, but it sure packs a punch, which matters to me more than anything. And extremely affordable, compared to many subscription services!
