It’s pretty good
I use it all the time but it still needs some adjustments. I’ve noticed not with just this app but internet image search as well that they went from very accurate to hardly ever accurate (internet). This app has been able to keep the most accurate percentage and one I will trust overall. My issue is I find myself needing to take a show three different pictures of the same thing and if I get 2 same answers I will go with it. Some days it will never give the same results and it asks me if it’s correct. There needs to be an I don’t know option bc I have to close the app bc I don’t want to say yes or no.
There also needs to be an easier way to delete than one picture at a time. Like allowing selecting multiple photos. Or if it has to be singular then a slide delete option not clicking three dots. If you are registered to be off the tiniest bit it just opens the info and you can’t delete from there. After a few times doing that it becomes too tedious to clean up the collection of misidentified insects.
I would also like to suggest being able to add insects
to your collection from photos already in the identify column. I have deleted some from my phone and I don’t want to save it to collect it and have it in another spot vs just allow it me to pin/flag it or save from within the app.
Once again great app and I use it daily. I would just love some more ease within the app itself.Show lessDeveloper Response

I’ve been tricked 2 times into purchasing your app for a year. Apple is so resourceful I think it’s apple that’s decides to pick a one year plan for a low income senior, then it takes me months to get over it. I know one things for sure I’ve never choose a year for any app and I found out today it’s not legal for money to be taken from my acct without my authorization. There are very few apps I’d need to have longer than the free trial. But unless I choose to keep the app and check mark for one year apple can’t legally go in and take the money. In your situation I’ve been taken for the money because I forgot to delete it not because I choose to keep it. If it’s in my power I will file against apple just for the money they’ve taken and led me to believe it was right. I’m a senior I forget sometimes but I never choose weekly, monthly or yearly. Anyone who will give me my money back I won’t list for the lawyer and if I forgot it you’d have proof for court you paid it back. But appearing in court for taking from a senior isn’t something I’d want to advertise my business with. AnnaShow lessVery helpful app!
I’ve been using this app for free more than two years and it’s amazing! When first downloading the app, the subscription pop-up might be confusing but it’s optional. (Press cancel in the top-right corner)
During an infestation, I was able to use this app to identify pests such as bed bugs and carpet beetles easily.
I also love to add to my “Insects Collection” section. I have 99 entries right now and love to go out to look for more!
As a bug-lover this app has helped me figure out what species are safe to touch and lots of facts about them. The accuracy is almost always perfect!
I also love their other apps such as Picture-Bird or Picture-Fish! Go check them out!Show less
