    I can’t use the camera I just purchased. It’s always having issues “connecting to WiFi” or loses signal and I have to uninstall the camera from the app and reinstall it in order to reconnect the camera. Then it only works a few more minutes before it loses connection again. My WiFi signal is “excellent“ so I don’t get how it keeps loosing signal. Trash app and wasted money on the camera since I can’t use it without this stupid app.

  • Ads, Really???

    For some reason, you buy this camera and of course it has to go with an app that is less than ideal. But on top of that’s, the most recent update has ADS every time I turn the camera on! I’ve used this camera for 6 months now, and this latest update is the first time I’ve seen video ads playing before I get to use the camera! Banners are fine, I don’t mind those, but c’mon. It wasn’t free!

  • Ads?

    Why are you adding ads onto the camera app? When I’m trying to quickly check on my baby while doing other things I have to stop everything and wait for the ad to stop. Really annoying. If I had just bought the camera I would’ve returned this product.
  • Annoying

    I use this camera as a baby monitor, I’m not trying to download whatever game you’re advertising or apply for a credit card when I open the app to see my child, I’m trying to see my child.
    The camera itself is aggravating as well, constantly disconnects and reconnects to my WiFi for no reason and has this loud annoying jingle when it turns on back on/reconnects and often wakes my child up. Really disappointing purchase.

  • Ads?! Really?!

    I have had this app since December and it is mediocre at best. There is a lag, it glitches, but it works most of the time. It works but I wish it was better. BUTTTTTTT here is the reason I am writing this review. With the most recent update, there are now ads!!! I have to watch ads every time I open the camera to check on my baby. WHY?! I paid for the camera, why do I need to watch stupid ads? I would NOT purchase this camera again if it I knew I would have to watch ads to use it.

  • Would use only as a supplemental camera

    The camera quality is good and responds pretty well; there is the issue of WiFi reliability—I sometimes wont get motion alerts until 10 minutes after I’ve taken the baby out of the room (so if I was depending on this as my only baby monitor, that could have disastrous results)—but it is nice to use as a supplemental camera where I can check in on things at home when I’m out and about.
    One other issue is the most recent update where they’ve really began to push their ads in the app—you can’t get rid of them unless you go to premium—but as I’ve already paid for the camera, I don’t see why I should have to pay additional to use it hassle free. The ads will actually block the alerts at the bottom of the page with no way to close them, so it’s a bit of a nuisance.

  • Notifications not working on IOS devices

    I am unable to get the notifications to work on iPhone or iPad. When going to notifications in settings menu the app is not listed there. Please advise how to get working. Other then that the app works great. Like the layout and is very easy to use.
  • Obnoxious Ads!

    I had purchased one of the cameras in December to use as a baby monitor. I didn’t like having to have the app open to hear the sound. However, I decided to keep it and use it as a camera since instead of using it as a monitor. After getting used to using the camera to check on my baby and moving the baby to his own room we ordered another one. Having two cameras was working just fine until the last update. Woke up early and got on the app to check on the baby when an ad popped up. Mind you I have the sound on my apps muted so that I don’t wake anyone up when the house is silent. The ad that popped up was so loud and it was a scream. Talk about obnoxious. I’m hoping with enough bad reviews and comments they will fix this otherwise I’ll be finding something else to use. Very disappointed that I thought I had found something great and the ads have ruined it for me.

  • The app went downhill.

    I wasn’t a big fan of the app to begin with but I got accustomed to it. Now there are ads? Normally, there are ads in FREE apps so they get you to buy something. There should NOT be any ads for an app I pretty much paid for when purchasing the camera. The ads were just the cherry on top. No longer going to use this camera and app. Ads are ridiculous to a paying customer.

  • Don’t update - App now has Ads!

    They updated the app claiming “bug fixes” but they added a ton of ads! Now the app has full screen ads and if you want to get rid of them you need to subscribe to their cloud services. I have 4 of these cameras so I feel stuck with them but if I had known about the ads I would have never bought these cameras. I use them for baby cams and to have to click through ads to use your own property is absurd. Imagine if Garmin had ads in their app that you had to click through to use their product. They would lose a lot of business and if DigitCam doesn’t fix this, they will too.
