The log in process needs to be fixed. As a first time user it brings you to a screen that is meant for established users and won’t bring you back to main set up. I closed the app and tried again. There is no way to set up as a “new” user. Why?
I’m a long time subscriber to News in Slow Spanish. The new app was at first pretty terrible, but now you can at least listen to an episode all together. However there’s no way to stop it from auto playing on to the next episode so I have to use an external timer to stop it. Also the archives are much harder to access now than when they were just in an easy to scroll down long list. Will continue to listen and hope the app improves more.

Thank you for your feedback. If you would like to listen to a single full episode (without autoplaying the next one on the list) we recommend downloading the desired episode and playing it from your playlist menu.
We are working now to improve navigation of our archives.News in Slow Spanish changed apps. I reinstalled the old app and installed the new L360 app and still couldn’t play the program. I asked, politely, if they could refund me a month since I really couldn’t use it and had no notice.
The new app does not work to just play a full episode as a podcast on a phone.

I sense a negative attitude towards our program, Karen. We don't deserve it and we really don't need to deal with that. If you don't like our program, then cancel your subscription. Click on the Cancel Recurring Payments...
It is now easy to download and listen to an entire new episode, for those of us listening in the car, on a bike or while running. Great job.
I don’t understand why News In Slow French switched. The old app worked fine. This new one by contrast is incredibly painful. The main upgrade (creating playlists from various weeks) does not offset the serious downsides. First, you can’t just let the app play on your iPhone offline unless you permanently leave your phone unlocked. Second, you can’t run with it either, since you’re offline and the same problems occur. These were the two main times when I used NSF. If they don’t fix this very basic problem, I won’t resubscribe.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Those features have been improved in recent updates. To listen while running without a wifi connection, we recommend downloading the episodes or playlists in the app.I’m cancelling my subscription because of this app. It’s a shame cause I really enjoyed eat. In the previous app I could listen to every episode of the edition as a single program. I don’t want to select article by article since I use it while commuting. Also I liked the ability to download the content. Now it’s simply not worth the money.

I much prefer the old app. It rounded out my cultural learning and I didn’t have the luxury of “picking” what I wanted to listen to. I enjoyed the banter of the hosts. This seems less personal. I’m not sure I’ll continue this subscription at this cost unfortunately.
The app is garbage. I would love to meet 2 people. The one who came up with this platform and the one who approved it. The worse!!!
I love the podcast and content. Works great on the web but this app is absolutely awful. A massive downgrade from the previous version. It is now nearly unusable for me. Previously you were able to listen to the entire episode continuously, each segment one after the other with a very nice introduction. The introduction is not gone and apparently only available on the web version.
I have twice emailed linguistica360 regarding this issue. They have twice told me that the full episode will be on the next release and neither time has that happened.
