Just keeps declining
3-4 years ago Axios was my favorite news source and a frequently used app. The news has gradually taken on a more alarmist tone. Axios i am already terrified of climate change so why the ceaseless articles that seem only to amplify those fears with little to offer beyond “be more scared”. The app update that removed the recent articles tab has really killed it for me. I do not want to search through 10 different sub tabs that have their own sub tabs to get to actual content. The quality of the content has diminished and the means of accessing that content has become burdensome and irritating. It’s a bummer.Show lessGreglaw
Excellent journalism, misleading ads
It’s difficult to respect their journalism when it is presented within content that misleads readers. I’ve become more savvy at bypassing them when scrolling through articles, but it’s massively annoying that I have to focus on not mistakenly reading an ad. Also, between EVERY article? What a hassle. I get that ads are needed for revenue to keep the app free, but make it more obvious it’s an ad. I might actually read them if it wasn’t presented in such an underhanded way.

Please Bring Back Read Status
I love this app and have been a reader for almost a couple of years now. Besides the great journalism, what I like the most about this app is that the articles are easy to read, but it used to show me which articles I have read. With the latest update a few days ago, it seems that feature has been removed. After I click on an article to read it now, it doesn’t show a read status so I have no way of knowing if an article I have read has been updated or not. I hope Axios will restore the simple yet important feature. Other than that, this is a great app. I will be more than happy to change my review to five stars if the feature is restored.Show lessNDThugmasterT
