  • Start brevity is the future of all communications

Canโ€™t see myself spending a day without it
  • Something Lost

Not exactly sure how to articulate this, but Axios has lost something important over the last two or theee years. It feels to me like itโ€™s focus has shifted from itโ€™s original excellence in journalism to revenue generation.

It is no longer my first read each morning. More like number four or five, and I seldom feel as if my time has been invested as well as it was in the early years of Axios. Much of the writing now feels generic. AI?

More focus on excellence in journalism and less on hyping its approach to brevity in writing. Solid idea, bland execution!

  • As Described

My go to news app that delivers as described on the iOS install page. Concise and organized in a manner that makes sense to my disorganized mind. Worth trying.
  • My first stop for US news throughout the day

Iโ€™m an American living in the UK and I read Axios, NYT, WaPo for the US perspective as well as the Times and the Guardian for the UK perspective. The first one I read, almost invariably, when I pick up my phone is Axios. There is much less to wade through, which also makes the app easier to manage.
I would love it if Axios provided more international coverage, particularly for the UK. And Iโ€™d pay for that. Unfortunately (for me) though, theyโ€™re going in the opposite direction, providing more local news in the States.

  • Great reads

Love that I can get the latest pertinent information but can also get the full story if wanted. So many news outlets add wasted words and drivel and you also seem to be bipartisan.
  • I read the Axios morning brief first in the morning

Great synopsis of current headlines with options to read more details. They also have local coverages of some cities. I read the Des Moines addition and learn more interesting facts from Axios DM than the DM Register or local news.
  • Great app. Smart brevity wins!

Love the bottom line up front style with Go Deeper option. Bravo for not filing the news feed with clock bait like all the other news sites.

One request โ€” please add a sans serif font option for the news copy text. The font you use is not easy on the eyes.
  • Axios

Everything should be this good. Simply great, briefly perfect.
  • No Overkill

Thank goodness, Iโ€™ve been going through basically every news app to find the perfect one and this is it. Axios brings your news in a scroll feed that offers not just titles but previews of the article that highlights all of the major details from beginning of article to end. None of that 20 min read that quickly turns from one viewpoint to the next and talks you from point A to point Z and some more. These are quick reads with all the RELATIVE info you need on the biggest stories. I LOVE IT

  • More info in notifications please

I like Axios because it covers different stories and in a slightly different way compared to other news outlets. I have to delete the app though because the notifications are cryptic 3-4 word epigrams. Please give me more detail in the notification โ€” at least a sentence โ€” so I can determine whether the story is of interest.
