love this app, but now crashing
I absolutely love this game, it’s so fun figuring out all the possibilities and shooting for the high scoreboard!
unfortunately the latest update has introduced significant glitches, mostly with the fishing phase. Now the game often crashes, i can’t complete a game most times on my phone. MAJOR bummer.
The achievements also would be fun to shoot for - can I get 45 fish in one game, for example - BUT nope, the ones I do complete simply aren’t recorded.
Will be glad to update review if issues are fixed, want it to be five stars!!

Neat game - good digital adaption
I like the game and also how it is designed for the iPhone. However, since the last update (24th Jan 2024) the game crashes a lot of times during one of the fishing phases.

Is there no way to turn off the music?!?
It jumped right in to a game without any tutorial or rules and I cannot figure out how to turn off the endless music. I guess there's a link to a rules video, but if I can't turn off the music it's really unplayable for me.
Great Implementation but no Multiplayer
This is a great game to get a digital version of and it all works as expected. Some of the UI is not 100% intuitive but it doesn’t take long to learn. My only gripe is that there is no simulated multiplayer. It looses its replay ability with only having the solo mode available (in the solo mode stuff is crossed out on your own sheet making it unavailable, instead of trying to beat someone head to head in scoring).

Question
When getting a STAR during the Town phase, how do you change to the other sheet if you want to use the Star to mark off something in the boat area (sheet)? Every playthrough video I have seen allows this but I can’t seem to find a way to change sheets on the digital game.

Game looks like it was made in the early 2010s. No tutorial, just a link to a rulebook and a video.

The app is always being polished and we have a strong beta test group that helps iron out issues that are of concern. A long awaited tutorial is being developed as well as some UI and quality of life improvements. Granted, it is one of the more complex roll and write games out there. I remember when I first downloaded and played Ganz Schön Clever, I had similar concerns, but knew it was worth it to learn the complexities of the game and very glad I did.
