Helped my grandpa

I used this app after talking with my grandpa about the care and food he was receiving at his age care home. The next week I went back and the home had noticed the feedback and changed their service of his food and care and my grandpa was happier with the service. Thank you

A great communication tool

Tell Touch has been easy to use to communicate about my Mother’s care. We can use it anytime, anywhere and it’s so quick to communicate whether her care has been satisfactory or not. I’m very happy her home has this app so we can easily communicate and ensure all is well.

Cumbersome

Had the app on my phone for about a month. More trouble than it’s worth. Sometimes the same communications are sent from both Telltouch and the home and it’s all too much and very confusing. Communications sent through Telltouch often can’t be opened. Home tells us to open with Google ie get the Google Chrome browser. Unbelievable. I’m not getting google chrome on my iPhone just for telltouch. Many of the families don’t understand IT issues. Everything should be to make life easier, not more complicated.
Not professional in that they haven’t even done a spellcheck. Interesting that it isn’t possible to read the low scoring reviews which got one star. People who aren’t happy usually do more than just give one star. If you don’t give feedback the app tells you to.
Nothing beats talking to people!!

Response from developer

Hi Gheelu.  Sorry to hear you've had issues. Let me try and address the issues you highlighted. 1. Sometimes the same communications are sent from both Telltouch and the home. There's not much we (as the app developer) can do about that. We'll encourage the homes we work with to not do that. 2. Communications sent through Tell Touch often can’t be opened. Hmm. I suspect I know what's happening here. I assume the home has sent a message with a link to a PDF. If your phone does not have mobile data enabled and you're not on WiFi, you won't be able to access the link. I'm not sure what we can do about that. We'll have a think about it. You shouldn't have to download Chrome to view anything. 3. Haven’t even done a spellcheck. Oh. Can you please let us know what isn't spelt correctly? We'll correct it in the next update. 4. If you don’t give feedback the app tells you to. Right. We have a prompt that asks you to provide feedback if you haven't already. We agree that nothing beats talking to people, but we've found that sometimes that isn't possible (lockdowns, availability, time zone differences, etc.). Tell Touch hopefully helps where you can't speak to someone. 5. It isn’t possible to read the low scoring reviews I'm not following what you mean by this. Are you referring to the App Store reviews or feedback in the Tell Touch app? Please note, we don't use star scores in the Tell Touch app and feedback isn't public. If you're referring to the reviews in the App Store, please note, it's possible for people to rate the app (star rating) without writing a review. Maybe that's what you're referring too?  Please reply here, or email us (support@telltouch.com.au) to clarify anything, or if you have any other issues. Kind regards, Raef

A great app

My mother’s care has improved greatly by using this app

Could not have been easier to use

I just submitted some feedback at my grandmothers home. I was not happy with them, but this app is very good. Its better than having to submit a formal complaint.

So simple!

Very easy to use, and very necessary in today’s environment.
Simple idea well executed.
