Poor keyboard, But it provides critical feature
Apples removal of split keyboard on iPad Pro seems like just a cash grab to force people buy their pencil. I simply prefer thumb typing. This app at least provides a split keyboard option for ipad pro users, but the auto correct is, amazingly, worse than apple's, you can't reposition the keyboard on the screen, the auto caps puts capital letters after commas, And there is no option to allow you to enter an intentionally misspelled word. A relatively poor keyboard overall, that would not be noteworthy except for the fact it provides a critical feature.Show lessmadengineer
Not great, barely acceptable.
They keyboard itself is almost okay. It isn't good but not terrible. the biggest problem with the thing is that it turns off the decent Apple autocorrect and enables its own truly godawful autocorrect that actively works against you at every turn. Their autocorrect can be disabled but irelky pretry ehecolym on a litrle bit of help to tupn. There is no option to just turn on normal autocorrect and not use their terrible one that makes your typing worse and literally won't let you type a lot of words at all.
This basically makes the keyboard nearly unusable for me. This is all Apple's fault for removing the real split keyboard.Show lessJust Your Usual Reviewer

No dictation button
In order to use the split keyboard, you can’t use the dictation button. So you basically have to switch back-and-forth between the normal keyboard in order to access the dictation button. Makes the keyboard pretty useless.raisinsab
iPad pro users: The best replacement split keyboard
This keyboard is very close to the original split keyboard that they took away from pro users for no reason. I typed this review with it and I’m satisfied. Contrary to older comments here, you CAN switch the autocorrect off. Also, there are a lot of extra colors not shown in the screenshots and some of them are very nice, don’t worry about having only bright pastel colors. Only thing missing now is a transparent middle and the ability to raise it up the screen, but who knows if Apple even lets devs do that.Show lessC31d5
Glad it's back, needs aome work
I was disappointed to see Apple do away with their much-loved split keyboard, so was happy to find this good replacement. if only it could be slid up the screen to match people's thumb positions it'd be perfect!TheLeopard418
Auto Correct Makes this Keyboard unusable.
The auto correct And auto caps is So atrocious and absolutely Unusable. You cannot Use acronyms. It Will, On passion Refuse toilet you make a Space. Spare yourself the Frustration.Cosmostation

Hi Cosmostation, Thanks for downloading The Banana Split Keyboard. We understand that everyone might not appreciate the auto correct feature provided by the keyboard, so we added the keyboard features the ability to disable it. You can find this setting near the "t" key on the left hand side of the keyboard (It's the pause button, it looks like two vertical bars "II"). After the latest Is (that Was suppose to be Apple software but it auto corrected) Upgrade my 12 9 Pro was no longer able to split keyboard. even when going in and using zoom in display settings. This keyboard works great even after you figure out keyboard sounds are not in apple settings but on the keyboard settings. The auto correct will be a headache if your a person who creates your own words or works in a business with a lot of your own terminology. It simply won't let you ignore a suggestion, it just changes the word! Very frustrating and needs to be fixed to get 5 stars.
It does not have any IMOGI if that is important to you, And i had to delete my apple keyboard to get this one to show up. Not sure if i add it back if this keyboard would have the option to select another keyboard to toggle back and forth to use Image image a there goes auto correct again. won't spell imogiShow lessY8SSTER
Best split keyboard so far
Love the keyboard. just a few things that would improve the experience. long press on keys to get the alternate values and a way to move / Float the keyboard up. other than that I really like how simple it is. Great minimalist split keyboard!Cooptown54
